We stopped by to have a dinner, they served tapas style, small dishes. Compared to the price tag, I would say it was a bit overpriced & the quality of the food was just meh.View more
Ambiance Izakaya au top !
Nourriture excellente & diversifiée ! Je recommande.View more
Great izakaya in downtown montreal, most of the dishes are fairly prices. Super cozy atmosphere with a nice covered terrace that is warmed up when it's colder outside.View more
We've been looking for an Izakaya to go for a while Biiru was a great surprise! We made a reservation & we got the table at the terrace. The decoration is super nice, the staff are friendly & we had such a good time there!
The dishes were delicious, specially the Okonomiyaki (10/10) & the Beef Tataki (10/10).
We'll definitely be coming back!View more
Such a fun little tucked away izakaya right in downtown Montreal. Highly recommend the food & drinks both, & the service was great.
Karaage was delicious !View more
View more
This downtown izakaya is amazing. Jules was the best server!! The food was fabulous, & the prices decent (+worth it). Will be going back!!!View more
This Izakaya offers delicious food but comes at a higher price. The atmosphere is lively but can be cramped & noisy. Recommended for those seeking tasty Japanese cuisine in a bustling setting, despite the cost & noise level.View more
A bit hard to find but a cool izakaya tucked away. All the staff, including my waiter Fred was attentive & friendly. He explained the menu & the dining style well - recommendations (gyoza, caramelized salmon) were great & food came out quicklyView more
View more
I've been to Biiru a few times now for both work dinners or out with friends. Every time has been an amazing experience. Staff is on point & actually takes the time to check in & make sure you're having a good experience. Food wise incredible especially for the price. Each dish has amazing sauces & is full of flavour & has some slight twist on traditional Japanese izakaya food.View more
Fred & Chloe (staff) were amazing, best Izakaya in Montreal by far.View more
I LOVED Yuzu beer. Great atmospher for izakaya, & the unagi yakitori was okay. I would love to try different dish in the future.View more

hello restomontreal
i'm japanese & i know a lot about izakaya in montreal, TO & Vancouver BC. i went to biiru izakaya & loved it a lot. ambiance really similar to goldengai in bigger size (新宿ゴールデン街). really liked the food.
i think it s good & smart adaptation of japanese izakaya cuisine for north american taste. keeping the traditional tast & sometimes upgraded with american technics.
definitely a place to recommand.
merci biiru.
