Favori des enthousiastes de la scène culinaire italienne à Montréal, le BEVO Bar + Pizzeria propose une cuisine traditionnelle d’Italie, des cocktails originaux et une ambiance rafraîchissante. Sept jours par semaine, le chef Giovanni Vella élabore des mets classiques rehaussés de notes créatives. La spécialité du restaurant : les pizzas authentiques cuites au four à bois.
Deux étages spacieux, un bar généreusement garni et des sièges disposés de façon conviviale mettent la table pour un repas toujours agréable dans le Vieux-Montréal. Vous pouvez compter sur des soirées animées avec nos 4 à 7 Aperitivo, un DJ présent tous les weekends et de la pizza fraîchement cuite jusqu’en fin de soirée les vendredis et samedis.
Pendant l’été, prélassez-vous sur la terrasse située directement sur la rue Saint-Vincent, une rue pavée largement fréquentée par les résidents et artistes de la ville.

We stopped by BEVO without a reservation & were seated after a short wait-about 15 minutes. We sat outdoors & the ambiance was lively.
We ordered the mushroom truffle risotto & the mushroom & chicken pizza. The risotto was good: rich, creamy. The pizza, however, was just okay. It wasn't terrible, but it didn't really stand out.

It's an interesting restaurant with a beautiful view.
There are plenty of tables set up by the street, allowing you to enjoy the distant views of the street right from your dining spot.
The scenery is breathtaking & untouched-truly a feast for the eyes.
The quality of the food was good, & the service was pleasant.
The dishes were delicious, freshly prepared, & made with high-quality, fresh ingredients.
The hospitality was warm & welcoming.

Bevo Bar + Pizzeria is exactly what you'd expect from a well-located Old Montreal spot: a tourist trap with a pretty patio, decent branding, & underwhelming execution. Let's start with the food-mediocre at best. The pizza was fine, but nothing memorable, & the pasta lacked depth or authenticity. If you're coming here expecting a real taste of Italian cuisine, prepare to be disappointed. This is a step up from Boston Pizza, sure, but authentic Italian? Not even close.
The atmosphere is loud, bordering on chaotic. It's not the lively'bustling trattoria' kind of vibe-it's just noisy, which makes conversation a challenge. Service was adequate, but certainly not exceptional. Our server was polite but rushed, & it felt like they were just trying to turn the table as fast as possible.
This place thrives on foot traffic & Instagrammable aesthetics, not on culinary merit. That said, if you're a tourist looking for a drink & a bite in a busy part of town, & you know exactly what you're walking into, you'll be fine. Just temper your expectations-this isn't a hidden gem or an authentic Italian eatery. It's a place to grab an overpriced pizza & say you went. Nothing more.Voir plus

We were looking for a patio to enjoy a beautiful summer day in old Montreal while we are visiting for the weekend & we decided to try Bevo.
Service is really good, they are attentive & helpful though food did took a little longer than expected.
We had two pizzas & a salad as an appetizer & it was okay. Nothing bad to say but really nothing outstanding for me to rate this spot as 5 stars. Respectfully, I think it's pretty average! Not too bad or super good. Just average.Voir plus

Although the food & service were pretty good, & the staff were very nice. I was discriminated against for having a service dog, & was denied a table inside. Just be aware if traveling with a service dog despite showing a Dr note you will only be allowed to eat outside.Voir plus

It EASY became one of my Top3 places of Montreal. I had my anniversary with my boyfriend there & omg everything was sooo perfect! The food, the sound level of music, the music they had, the food (this one omg the BEST 😍) .

I had a feta & olive pizza, it was tasty, the dough is the perfect amount of soft & crispy, well cooked. I had the beet salad, it had goat cheese, walnuts & apples. It was recommended by the waitress, it was very good as well. I had to put some spicy oil on the pizza to give it a little kick. Food, service, atmosphere & great vibes! All in one place & right near the port & old Montreal. If you're looking to dine in at an Italian place with great staff & food this is the place. The ricotta pasta was the most amazing pasta I've had ask the server for this when ordering I don't recall the name. The mushroom mozzarella pizza was nice but nothing crazy. The sun-dried goat cheese tomato based pizza was great vegetarian option as well.

Une très belle expérience du début à la fin. Le serveur était d'une grande gentillesse, attentionné sans être envahissant. & que dire de la pizza… tout simplement magnifique, tant par la qualité des ingrédients que par la cuisson parfaite. Un vrai régal ! A truly wonderful experience from start to finish.
