This is a great Italian restaurant, not just a pizzeria. You can have a general set of Italian foods here - & the food will be right.Voir plus
My wife & I were at Bevo several years ago in Old Montreal. It was near our hotel & we felt it was a great find. We are back in town & returned to Bevo this Sunday night. What a great experience. We ate outside on a quiet side street of old Montreal. The hostess greeted us with a smile (always a great first impression). Our served came over & said she would be with us in just a minute (always a great second impression). Sure enough she soon returned & introduced herself as Dahlia. Dahlia was obviously adept at managing her tables. She helped us pick a pizza, made great wine suggestions & was right on it if we needed anything. Dahlia did the same for all the other tables around us. She made it a perfect night. Thank you Bevo for having such great staff.Voir plus
Outstanding pizza, great service, nice ambiance. Definitely worth visiting!Voir plus
At a very lively location. Service was great. Food is good, not great. The pizza crust is great but their tomato sauce was missing something. Cocktails are overpriced.Voir plus
Hands down, one of the best pizzas I've ever had!
First, pizza is heated on wood
Second, The crust is perfectly crispy, the sauce is tangy, & the cheese is melted to perfection. The toppings are fresh & generous, & the staff is friendly & attentive.
Kids friendly (as you can see from the picture), cozy atmosphere, great prices, & exceptional quality.
I will definitely come again & try other stuff on the menu.
If you're a pizza lover like me, this place is a MUST-VISIT!Voir plus
Excellent dining experiences at Bevo on 23 April. We were a big family with small children from Australia & our waiter, Yani, looked after us with impeccable service & wonderful warmth! Thank you for giving us an enjoyable, fun & yummy lunch!Voir plus
Yanny was an amazing host, made the best recommendations for good & drinks & went above & beyond & make our experience memorable. Excellent pizza & service!Voir plus
Food, service, atmosphere & great vibes! All in one place & right near the port & old Montreal. If you're looking to dine in at an Italian place with great staff & food this is the place. The ricotta pasta was the most amazing pasta I've had ask the server for this when ordering I don't recall the name. The mushroom mozzarella pizza was nice but nothing crazy. The sun-dried goat cheese tomato based pizza was great vegetarian option as well.
Overall great experience if you are in old montreal for some Italian foodVoir plus

The ricotta & spinach pasta is AMAZING, I never usually like Italian restaurants (bland & underwhelming) but this pasta blew me away. Pizza is also delicious as well.Voir plus
During my recent culinary stroll through Old Port Montreal, I had the pleasure of dining at a charming spot that delivered a delightful blend of comfort, flavor, & ambiance. Our order consisted of the Arancino, Salame Pizza, Focaccia bread, & two craft cocktails-a well-rounded selection for an evening out.
Let me start with the Arancino-a golden, fried risotto ball nestled in a luscious tomato sauce. This dish is a must-try. The outer crispiness gives way to a creamy, flavorful center that immediately wakes up the palate. The sauce, vibrant & tangy, complements the richness of the risotto perfectly. It's the kind of starter that sets the bar high & leaves you anticipating what's next.
Following this strong start was the Salame Pizza, topped generously with pepperoni. What stood out here was the meticulous attention to detail-the pepperoni was sliced to a consistent, ideal thickness, crisped just right around the edges. The dough struck a perfect balance-thin enough to avoid any heavy, bloated feeling, yet sturdy enough to hold its structure & deliver a satisfying chew. Each bite was harmonious, & the flavor lingered pleasantly on the tongue.
Next came the Focaccia bread. While it may not have been the highlight of the meal, it was certainly enjoyable-lightly crisped on the outside, soft on the inside, & mildly seasoned. It serves as a great accompaniment, though it doesn't steal the spotlight.
Pairing all of this with two well-crafted cocktails elevated the experience. Whether you're a fan of something refreshing or more spirit-forward, the cocktail menu is worth exploring to enhance your meal.
The location deserves its own mention-the restaurant is tucked away in the picturesque Old Port, offering diners a visually pleasing, almost cinematic backdrop. With cobblestone streets, old-world architecture, & a warm breeze from the water, the setting adds a unique charm to the entire dining experience. The staff were equally impressive-welcoming with genuine smiles & attentive throughout the evening, striking the perfect balance between friendliness & professionalism.
If there's one caveat to note, it's that the kitchen can take a bit of time, so I recommend settling in, enjoying the ambiance, & perhaps ordering a drink or two while you wait. The food is worth the patience.
Final verdict: Start with the Arancino, don't skip the Salame Pizza, sip on something crafted behind the bar, & soak in the atmosphere. This spot is a delightful gem in the heart of Old Montreal.Voir plus
I'm a big fan of Italian cuisine, & I usually choose dishes based on photos or reviews. I tried the marinated chicken with vegetables from the menu, but to be honest, it wasn't quite what I expected. In my view, Italian food has a different flavor profile, so this dish didn't really feel very authentic to me. Still, I appreciate the effort & presentation.Voir plus
I stopped in on a rainy day & had a great time. Nina was working at the bar & she was excellent. The pizza was excellent too!Voir plus
