I've had the cookies & the savory brioche here, & both were the perfect balance of tender & crisped, with flavors that really come through. The caramel cookie has pockets of melted caramel in it. 😭 The savory brioche boasted pine nuts & ribbons of pesto & cheese - truly a unique pastry/bread experience.
Their cake is Masterchef Quality!!! probably the best cake i had in Montreal! Also their cookies taste exactly like the famous NYC bakery Levigne's cookies.
This place is absolutely INSANE. Run there right now & that way you can burn off the calories you will not regret consuming at this bakery also known as heaven on earth. The cinnamon buns are the best I've eaten & the cookies so decadent & over the top in the best way possible. My boyfriend & I went this morning & were already trying to rationalize to ourselves an acceptable time frame to go back & get everything they have to offer. It IS that bakery!
Cozy spot with the most delicious pastries & drinks! The cinnamon roll was INCREDIBLE! The owner was also super friendly & explained their drinks menu, from which you can order anything in a Frappuccino format. We had a matcha Frappuccino & a chai Frappuccino & both were delicious. Also the cookies are excellent. Can't wait to go back
Insane how delicious everything was! We got greedy & ordered more than what we could eat, & we don't regret it one bit. The cookies were heavenly & generous in size & there were large chunks of chocolate chips. The coffee cake was simultaneously dense & moist, a rare yet perfect combination. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, that dirty matcha really hit the spot by cutting the sweetness with its bitter-y matcha flavored warmth, coating the bites of cookies & cake. I was thirsty on my way out so grabbed an iced tea to go, & it was the best iced tea I ever had: sweet & slightly sour. Yum! Definitely coming back to try other things! ;)
Been here a couple of times already. Are the cookies expensive? Yes. But are they worth it? TOTALLY. Consider this a little well-deserved treat from time to time, that's what I tell my wallet.
Took the matcha latte once - not worth the price in my opinion. Take a regular coffee instead.
J'avais vu les vidéos sur Instagram & j'étais curieuse de tester leurs cookies. Honnêtement, j'ai été un peu surprise par le prix - 8 dollars pour un seul cookie .Mais waaw, j'ai été agréablement surprise ! Le cookie était plein de saveurs, super bien garni, généreux à souhait… chaque bouchée était un vrai plaisir. Ça valait le détour (& le prix) !

As of Feb 2025, Bernice is home to the best cinnamon bun in Montreal!
We also bout a sixer of cookies that we brought to a party later that night & the crowd went wild. The kind of cookies that you just stare at for minutes on end & wonder how they go so thicc & rich & tantricly orgasmic. Insane.
Also bought some coffee beans & rate them a 8.5/10 for home brews!
Outstanding Service & Delicious Pastries!
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm & friendly welcome. The staff was incredibly kind & attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. Their excellent service truly stood out! There was a great variety of pastries, & everything looked delicious. I decided to try a brioche with cheese, ham, & bacon. It was so good that I had to order another one right away! I also bought two cookies & a croissant, & everything was of exceptional quality.
Beyond the amazing food & coffee, what really made a difference was the outstanding service. The staff was genuinely friendly, making the place feel even more cozy & inviting. I'll definitely be coming back!
We stopped by finally , after planning to since awhile & it's definitely worth the drive for us! Such mouthwatering combinations whether it is the bacon bechamel version of cinnamon rolls or the cookies, you cannot go wrong with anything you pick. Melt in the mouth delicious flavours, crafted with care & perfection! My photos don't do it justice 😊👍 great service too & fresh baked goods! We'll be back for more!

Was welcomed by friendly staff. Yummy chocolate chip cookies are just one of the many delicious looking treats in the display case. Blossom Dearie playing in the background & a sunny window to sit near by. Great latté too!
