I dropped my birthday cake mid-day yesterday & ended up going to Bernice to see if I could score a super last minute (seriously, 15 mins before close) replacement birthday cake for myself.
I got a frosted rainbow cake & it turns out that dropping the original birthday cake was the best thing that could've happened to me on my birthday. I'm not even really a cake person but this cake was giving off such a whimsical energy that it got me really excited for the cake portion of the evening.
I will definitely be coming back here for all future birthday cakes.

Best cinnamon roll 'Brioche' I've ever had, I went to other places that are in the top list of MTL & this is my new favorite. Super fluffy, buttery & moist, yet it has other great textures from the crumble & the sides are a bit baked or caramalized. The cookies are great too, very similar to levain cookie in NYC, I really like the 4oz cookies. Overall one of the best baked good outings I've had, I was planning on saving some for at home but ended up eating everything. Customer service was great, & the man behind the counter kindly answered my many questions about all their products. Will definitely be back, worth the far trip from the other side of town & will need to try their cake next time!
The service here is always top notch. I came here 3 times for coffee & dessert. The seatings are very comfy & the people working there were always so nice!

Very expensive ( 18 cad for a slice of cake ). Anyway The white chocolate cookies are amazing, the cake not so much. Brownies ( 10$ for a square) are okay as well as cinnamon rolls but overall just extremely pricey

I can't get enough of this place. Everytime i go it's always a treat. I've tried so many of their different cookies (& famous cinnamon bun of course) & I've never once been disappointed!
My favorite so far has to be the brownie/Blondie cookie, it was so delicious, & it was the perfect sweet treat! The staff is also always so kind & smiling, they've never led me a stray with their recommendations. This is definitely one of my go to spots for when I want to indulge in a GOOD sweet treat🍵🍪
Les meilleurs biscuit a montreal, & leur brioche sont excellent tout est juste trop bon!!!! Nous avons pris une part de gateau au miel pomme & creme de pistache WOWWW!! J'aime trop cette patisserie
I honestly can't recommend this bakery enough! I come here whenever I'm in the area, & I'll even go out of my way just to drive here. My daughter & I absolutely love it. The coffees, pastries, & cakes are all amazing-I've yet to find anything better in Montreal.
It's definitely an indulgent spot, but every bite is worth it.
Notre café préféré montréalais! L'accueil y est très chaleureux. L'ensemble du personnel est au petit soin & s'assure que nous ne manquons de rien. Le choix des pâtisseries est large & elles sont excellentes. Je ne peux que vous recommandez un passage par cette belle adresse.
