Nous sommes arriver au restaurant pour une première fois à cette endroit & sa l'a été la pire expérience de toute notre vie . Le serveur nous parlais en anglais alors que nous lui parlons en français nous avons donner notre commande , 1 personne a eu son assiette & l'autre la eu 15 min après & de plus c'était même pas la bonne chose .. 0 compréhensible même la gérante qui nous a juste dis c'est quoi le problème . Très déçu & je recommande 0 ce restaurant . Si je pourrais je metterais 0 étoiles !!
Service au top malgré la salle pleine, plats généreux & savoureux.
Mention spéciale au petit pot de caramel offert aux mamans : une attention touchante, wow!!!

Pour être un habituer des Ben & Florentine, ce dernier est loin derrière ses confrère au niveau de la nourriture. La sauce hollandaise est sans gout. Très décevant
Horrible experience with waitress. She never came to see us for water coffee or just check up on us. got my order wrong, then when she said she'll get it for me, she never did until the end & said she'll bring it right away, but I was already done with my food. She took our plates when we were done, didnt come for 40mins to ask us if we wanna pay for the bill. 0/5 service.
My wife & I just moved to the Ville de Saint-Laurent part of Montreal the beginning of October. Our first visit to a local area restaurant was the Ben & Florentine .. they have an extensive menu that covers both small & large breakfast, lunch & early supper offerings. The restaurant is a good size & wadnt overly noisy. Our food was excellent, eggs cooked perfectly with delicious hash brown potatoes. Our server was attentive, polite & quite comical. We enjoyed our visit & look forward to a return very soon.
Since it's recent change in ownership there has been a marked reduction in service & overall food quality.
Came in for lunch Friday October 3rd & ordered a western omelet. It took forever to receive my order & when it arrived at the table it was cold.
I always order a large fresh orange juice but was told the machine has been broken for a month. I always order rye toast but was told that although rye toast is on the menu that they haven't received any rye bread with their daily bread order.
I had to order my drink 3 times before the waiter remembered to bring it I don't blame him as he was alone serving a rather full restaurant.
Looks like the New owner is cutting costs .. Well the new owner just lost a regular customer who had litterally spent a few thousand dollars over the last year or so..
