First off, the wait line was all the way outside & their entrance was not heated...it was blowing cold air as we waited. Also, not the waitress' fault but it was super busy & they seemed understaffed...so our food took nearly an hour to arrive, & they ran out of special birthday donuts for our little niece 🥺. Il y a toujours la queue & la pour une fois personne dehors,donc avec ma femme & mon fils on ce dit c'est l'occasion vue les bonne review. Nous sommes arrivés à 12h20 notre repas nous a été servi a 13h50... 1h30 d'attente pour un burgers & oeuf jambon effilochée. Nous avons attendu tous ce temps sans nous proposer d'eau ou savoir si un café nous ferait plaisir. Repas sans saveur & froid (poivron pas cuit) première & dernière fois.View more

It was my first time eating at a Ben & Florentine chain. The food was comparable to other breakfast chains, maybe a little bit more expensive for the amount of food but not by much. There are small differences from others in that they have apple compote in their standard plates & their toasts are generously buttered. Chhay, our server, was very efficient, courteous, & proactive (constantly refilling our coffees). No complaints!View more

I ordered a veggie skillet . The skillet was cold. The food was cold. I asked for a coffee refill which she never did even though the restaurant was quiet. But she kept bringing other stuff to our table & asking the others if they needed anything. When we asked for the bill, then she said i forgot your coffee. So i told her forget it, we are done. But for her tip, she went off & brought it in a to-go cup. I left it there. Not impressed with her. I felt she was racist.View more

Brigitte (succursale Bombardier, Anjou) est toujours souriante, à son affaire, proactive & sympathique :-) Mon complice de vie & moi nous apprécions son professionnalisme, elle se rappelle tous nos petits caprices. Elle nous apporte notre breuvage sans que nous ayons besoin de demander & ce n'est pas du café: c'est un gros WOW! Merci Brigitte.

Après une visite éclair dans un autre Ben & Florentine (Candiac) nous essayons celui-çi près du Mail Champlain.
Encore une atmosphère ingrate de cafétéria mais cette fois-çi avec une prolongement en "L" de la salle-à-manger. Nous nous installons au fond complètement afin d'être le plus éloigné de la cuisine. Mais même là on entend le bruit de théières de la station de mise-en-place. Mais, par une grâce particulière, nous ne sommes tout de même pas mal à l'aise comme à Candiac.
La serveuse quoique gentille & attentionnée utilise sa voix d'une manière dramatique & toujours comme si elle s'adressait à des enfants dans un CPE. Elle doit faire du théâtre! Mais elle est tout de même gentille.
Dans le menu il est écrit à plusieurs endroits: "...nos fameuses patates...". Ouch! Mes patates & celles de mon épouse étaient cuites & recuites; probablement une "batche" trop grosse pour le midi (il était 14:00hre) recuite pour le client tardif. Les oeufs frais mais vraiment petits, le bacon un peu épais & trop dur, la saucisse de dimension correcte mais au goût terriblement moche, les fèves aux lard avec pas de lard & sans saveur à commenter. Le pain doré & la gaufre également agréable. Le café au lait était bon.
Quand j'ai commenté les "fameuses patates" à notre charmante serveuse, en lui montrant les innombrables "trop petits cubes" de patates desséchés, je n'ai eu droit à aucunes excuses. Ça ca mérite une mauvaise note!
$33.48 pour de la malbouffe c'est inacceptable & les patron de nombreux restaurants le savent très bien.
