The food was excellent, but the staff made the experience even better. We tried the Koubideh & Joojeh-both were incredibly juicy & delicious. Try the tea & Baklava for dessert!
I've been visiting Behesht monthly since its opening. While it started strong, the food quality has noticeably declined. During my last visit, the rice was poorly cooked, & the Barg kebab lacked authentic flavor. Only one non-Persian-speaking server was available, leading to long waits. Restroom facilities were also lacking basic hygiene supplies. Still, great parking, nostalgic decor, & polite staff deserve mention.
Very beautiful restaurant & very delicious food my son was surprised with super delicious'kebab' & special rice, & very nice & kind stuff 😊 I highly recommend going to this restaurant!

The place was spotlessly clean, the food was delicious & served in generous portions.
The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, & welcoming.
Prices were very reasonable for the quality & quantity of the food.
There was also easy parking nearby.
If you're looking for authentic Persian food with a warm & inviting atmosphere, I highly recommend this place!
I wish I could give a better review as I liked the food (though the koobideh was a bit undercooked).
However, I cannot in all fairness say that this restaurant is clean enough for a returning customer. There were so many flies hovering above the table that eating turned into a hassle. I had to constantly wave my hand to prevent flies from sitting on my food. On top of that, when they brought bread & butter to our table, the first package of butter I picked was open & used. It was clear that it was pick up from another table once the customers had finished their food (see the picture), not to mention that the butter was not even real butter; it was margarine (so cheap).
All in all, with so many choices in Montreal, this customer is not coming back.

At the end of our dinner, my son of 11 ordered the Baqlava on the menu. He got a plate with one piece of Baqlava. The item on the menu was a two-piece dessert. They just felt comfortable bringing one piece for my son since he was a kid. As it turned out, they did not feel shy charging the full-price though.
A good restaurant serving tasty Iranian food. The atmosphere is warm & welcoming, with beautiful classic decoration that adds to the experience. A great place to enjoy traditional Persian dishes in a cozy setting. Highly recommend!
One of the best & most professional Iranian restaurants I've seen in all of Canada. They were extremely respectful & created a delightful experience for me & my family. The atmosphere was also excellent & very pleasant.
