I thought the banana honey is just sweet & fruity, but it's mixed with onion, thyme, garlic etc which makes it so weird, & completely overpowers the honey & banana. The stuffed one is really good & big, I only finished half of it, & it's stuffed very full where the breading is thin, which is amazing. Highly recommend the stuffed bagel.
Bbagels is truly a hidden gem - a family-owned business that feels more like a community than just another bagel spot. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed with such warmth & friendliness that it instantly feels like home.
What really makes Bbagels stand out is their commitment to freshness & zero waste. Everything is made fresh, with real care & quality behind each bagel - not mass-produced like the typical commercial spots. You can genuinely taste the difference. & the bagels are huge!
Their menu is creative & unique, offering everything from beautifully crafted open-faced bagels to generously stuffed bagels & their signature rip & dip concept, which is an absolute must-try.
This is the kind of place that brings people together - fresh food, thoughtful values, & a true sense of community. If you're looking for authentic bagels made with passion, this spot absolutely deserves a visit.
You MUST try this spot the stuffed bagels are incredible & portions are not your average Montreal bagel portion :)
The bagels here are quite good-fresh, hot, & well-stuffed. We tried the Poulet, Marinara Pesto, & Cheese, & the quality was definitely there. However, at $20 per bagel, the price point feels a bit steep for what you get.
Bagels aren't really bagels, more like bread shaped bagels.
We tried all 3 of their stuffed bagels, the breakfast bagel with egg & bacon, the stuffed smoked meat & potatoes, & the stuffed chicken pesto.
None of them were enjoyed by anyone who tried them & for the price of 60$ pour emporter for the 3 it's not looking good for this spot.
a world in which i can have a world in which i can have these bagels for breakfast every morning is a perfect, very yummy world. the bagels here are definitely a bit more untraditional, in terms of size, texture, & unique flavours like banana & honey, as well as their SCRUMPTIOUS cream cheese selection. i tried their smoked meat STUFFED BAGEL & it was insanely delectable. you can tell they didn't just throw a bunch of ingredients together haphazardly, but that they made sure everything worked well together. the smoked meat had a nice balance of chewy lean & fatty bits, & i really liked how it wasn't overly salty, oily, or overpowering. there was lots of melty cheese mingling with buttery, mushy mashed potatoes, which was super duper comforting. the bagel itself was super hefty, & the outside had a perfect slight crisp while retaining a nice & fluffy & soft doughy bread-like inside. the sesame seeds also sprinkled on top was also a nice touch of flavour. DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE CREAM CHEESE THOUGH - it's much creamier &'watery' than your typical thick schmear, but it was soooo good. the sweetness of the honey went so well with that subtle, sharp jalapeno taste & garlicky undertone, & the creamy freshness gave such a nice bright contrast to the hot stuffed bagel filling.
'Daaaaaaamnn'... thats what I said when I bit into their bagels.
Im use to NY bagels but I can honestly say I preferred these.
Not your typical sweet montreal bagel.
Much more airey type of bagel compared to NY.
The lox bagel was garnished with idk what but had a mix & blast of fresh flavors. Id say top 3 lox bagels of my life.
I also tried the Bacon egg & cheese one which there was only 2 left at 1:15PM. So get there before that time if you want the good stuff. The bagel is stuffed with the bacon egg & cheese.
I also tried the poutine special stuffed bagel.
Order of awesomeness. Lox bagel, poutine, then bacon egg & cheese. I expected the BEC to get #2.
Staff was super friendly & amazing.
Latte was flavorful & not bland.
Not so much space inside but who cares if your food is 10/10.
Parking was easy & free on sunday.
A must go if you are in Montreal. Added 1 hr to my ride but so worth it.
Best bagel I've ever had in my life! The smoked meat stuffed bagel is unbelievable!
