I love the ambiance,& the music! I went to Bazart in two seasons & they change the setting & decoration. both is very pretty & live ambiance. Meze comes in a small portion if you are sharing with a group, fresh bread & Labneh , & Tahini is a must! :) ravioli spinach & mushroom is delicious too. Main course is nice & it's tasty. Highly recommended!
Tulum vibes in Toronto. Food was bomb, grilled octopus & lamb chops were a hit amongst our group. Attentive service from our waitress. Great music with a live dj. Overall, we had a great time & would love to be back.
We were so excited to finally visit Bazart after three years of anticipation. The pictures on social media make it seem like an exotic paradise in the heart of Montreal. Upon arrival, we found valet parking to be essential due to the difficulty of finding a parking spot. The staff were welcoming, the decor was impressive, & the incense scent was very zen & calming. However, our excitement quickly turned into disappointment. Our order was missing items, which could be understandable if it was just a mix-up. The real issue began with the music. We were seated at the back of the restaurant, where the music was barely audible. When I asked if it was possible to increase the volume, I was given an excuse about how it wasn't possible to play music on our side of the restaurant. (On a Saturday at 8:30PM). This lack of effort to find a solution was frustrating. We spent the evening listening to loud noises instead. As a result, my evening was ruined. The food was not up to par, causing me to lose my appetite. The ambiance felt dead, & the only highlight was my spicy margarita. Overall, Bazart feels overrated & oversold on social media. I had high hopes but left feeling ripped off, especially considering the cost. While I would love to give it another try, I'm hesitant to waste my money again. Normally, I'm easy to please when dining out, but this experience was a significant letdown.
Amazing place for having drinks with nice music. The interior is gorgeous❤️🔥. They have really good drinks, didn't try their food but next time we definitely will come back & try. If you looking for a good place to have an "after party" you definitely need to visit this place.
Went a while back & we'll definitely be back ! Had such a good time! Shoutout to Chirag (our server) for taking care of us. Great food (quality, homemade ingredients), incredible ambiance (great music, decor). Can't wait to see what it will look like outdoors!
I went to the Bazart a year ago & I'm writing this review now, at 5 am, because the feeling of expecting the sunrise is pretty how I would describe the Bazart. This place has been haunting me for the past year & I can safely say that that night is now one of my Core memories. Everything about that night still gives me goosebumps. The food was out of this world, the staff felt like the most amazing & vibrant people - treating us with such care & warmth, like we've been friends forever. The whole atmosphere.. It is still difficult to describe the feeling, but if I try, I would say it was a euphoric, dream-like & addictive experience. Also the music was live, played by a DJ. He was really cool & respectful. The whole place was vibrating to his music. Nothing felt out of place. The worst part was actually leaving, but even then, they offered a valet, which thank god cuz parking in Griffintown is a whole experience on its own.
We decided to book this place after ready in a magazine about 10 top restaurant in Montreal. The ambiance is surreal, the decor is elegant Mediterranean mood & not forget the food "delicious & generous". Staff is extremely professional. We had very pleasant time with music played. Beautiful, surprising place, congrat to the designer who magically changed this huge building in an amazing lounge/restaurant. The music is insane, excellent DJ playing with talent with Afro/tribal house music. The major negative point is the food. Very limited menu but long list of drinks, our waiter repeated at least 5 times Champagne in his suggestions (). The plates are good for 1 but they insist on sharing. The main courses are good for two but expensive. Their menu & quantities must be tought again. No one is fooled, the restaurant was far to be full a thursday night. They wont survive if they dont make significant changes. I wont go back to eat there, may be for a drink but no more.
