Fabulous meal, every dish was delicious & the staff was incredibly warm. We especially loved the Freekah Salad, Pumpkin Kibbeh, a Chef's Special eggplant dish &, of course, the stuffed mini-eggplant made by hand.
Bayrut is one of the best place to go in Montreal. People are extremely friendly, food is great atmosphere is unique, incomparable!
Brüt Champagne & Sauvignon blank from Beyrut is very good!
This is one of the must go place !!
We were visiting Montreal & came across Bayrut & I could not be happier we found this gem! I love the values of this restaurant - no fried food & they only use olive oil which immediately caught my intention as this is how we eat at home as well. The recipes are from the owner's grandmother which is not only such a beautiful homage to her - but it truly tasted like it as well. This restaurant has delicious, authentic Lebanese food, everything was 1000/10. The staff was very hospitable & I will be dreaming about the ashta dessert for weeks. This is a must try restaurant!!!

We had dinner at Bayrut with our young children. The owner & the team were so incredibly lovely, they gave our two girls extra attention & little gifts to play with which they adored. We absolutely loved the food & drinks (the Arak Rosè is amazing) & the background of how it's made & where it's sourced was a lovely touch. It felt like we were eating with family.
honestly a 3/10 & thats thanks to the great service. we did the tasting menu & every dish was overly acidic & bitter. the server did try to overcompensate by saying this is authentic but we've been to damas & kazamaza. it was genuinely difficult to eat any of the dishes without coughing or looking for some sort of bread. however the rice pudding y dessert was very good! definitely not worth the 400$ of very very bad food. if they nail down their food combined with the great service & location, it can easily be one of the best spots in the old port.
Impeccable. Couldn't speak more highly of this place. First class service, welcoming, accommodating, paying little attention to details & requests, & simply kind. I organized a team dinner for more than 20 people with Mohannad, the owner of the restaurant, & he made sure everyone had an amazing time. The atmosphere inside is warm & beautiful.
We all ate SO WELL. Every single dish was delicious. From the hummos, to the fattoush, to the wara2 3enab, to the taouk bites (WITH REAL TOUM 🤤) to the spinash & rice, to the lamb, to the frikeh. Even the rice pudding was amazing. There was more than we could eat but we couldn't stop. Flavours are authentic & it truly feels like you're eating at your grandma's. I rarely find that in Montreal.
I wish I had more pictures of the food & the table but we were too excited to film. The place even sells a great variety of Lebanese products.
Joya & the other waitresses & waiters did a great & fast job. It's always such a pleasure to feel so welcomed & appreciated in a restaurant, & I appreciate back the generous & high-quality food, but most importantly the great service! Thanks all, it was a blast & I can't wait to be back🫶🏻
My boyfriend & I picked Bayrut to celebrate his birthday during our trip to visit Quebec from NYC. My family is Lebanese so I was also excited to try the Lebanese food in Canada. Due to a series of bad events, my boyfriend's plane was severely delayed & it messed up our dinner reservation.
The staff were incredibly accommodating & kind as I waited for him to arrive. The staff here were amazing & SO SWEET. They deserve 100/10 stars.
The food was also incredible. The smell & taste reminded me of my grandmothers cooking. The tabbouleh & shish barak was a highlight for us.
Good Lebanese restaurant but not the best . We asked the waiter if they sold the mulberry drink, & at first he said no. Then he told us he could sell it to us for 75 CAD. After negotiating, he agreed to 40 CAD, which was still extremely expensive & honestly felt like a marketing tactic.
My friend also asked about the pomegranate molasses, & they first offered it for 170 CAD, then suddenly agreed to sell it for 70 CAD. The pricing felt very inconsistent & unfair.
On top of that, the food itself was already overpriced. Overall, the place is far too expensive for what it offers, & because of this experience, I will definitely not visit again
