We really enjoyed this place! The staff were very friendly & attentive 🤍
We ordered the Dinner Tasting Menu ($95 per person), & it was definitely worth it. It was a great way to try a wide variety of dishes & experience Lebanese cuisine. We were already full before the main course!
I would have loved a little more variety in the meat dishes, but overall it was a wonderful experience.
Thank you! We'll definitely be back 🫶
honestly a 3/10 & thats thanks to the great service. we did the tasting menu & every dish was overly acidic & bitter. the server did try to overcompensate by saying this is authentic but we've been to damas & kazamaza. it was genuinely difficult to eat any of the dishes without coughing or looking for some sort of bread. however the rice pudding y dessert was very good! definitely not worth the 400$ of very very bad food. if they nail down their food combined with the great service & location, it can easily be one of the best spots in the old port.
This Lebanese restaurant stands apart from the usual shawarma-&-street-food experience. The dishes feel deeply authentic, like the kind of food a grandmother would lovingly prepare at home rather than something made for fast service. Every plate carries warmth, tradition, & rich homemade flavors that are hard to find nowadays. From the slow-cooked dishes to the delicate seasoning, the cuisine feels comforting, genuine, & rooted in family heritage. A beautiful reminder that Lebanese food is far more than street food - it's soulful home cooking❤? & let's not forget the nice staff & the great service they provide! I tried it at lunch time & today had the brunch menu👌
I had a great experience at Bayrut Restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented-especially the mezze dishes. The atmosphere felt warm & inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening. Service was friendly & attentive without being overwhelming. Definitely a spot I'd come back to & recommend to anyone who enjoys authentic Lebanese cuisine
A must try! Different than other Lebanese restaurants in the city. You'll find dishes you only eat at home. The food was so tasty & well executed. The staff was attentive, joyful & on point. Will definitely return. Highly recommend.
Absolutely amazing! My first experience with Lebanese food & I was blown away. We ordered may different dishes so I could try a variety of dishes. Owner was super sweet & gave us free desserts to go!! Cannot rave enough about this spot!!
Excellent restaurant & new discovery in Montreal! Apparently, they opened up just a few months ago, so kudos to the team! I took my lady there for Valentine's day & we took the tasting menu. The food was great: delicious flavours, generous quantities, all served in beautiful dishes to share. Every thing was authentic & well executed. I highly recommend!
Very much enjoyed the whole experience. From the friendly staff to the delicious dishes. Nothing fried & no seed oils in any of their dishes.
I NEED to leave a glowing review even if my order was via Uber Eats & I clearly missed the in-house atmosphere & hospitality. Every bite was fantastic! Bursting with flavors & textures & color. The fattoush was probably my favorite in all of Montreal. Tangy, spiced, & a hint of sweetness. It was hard to stop myself from eating the entire bowl (because I wanted to still try the other dishes). The baked chicken toast was unique & tasty. I'm not vegan/vegetarian but I happen to like vegetarian kibbeh, & those are hard to find in Montreal restaurants. The baked-not-fried method of cooking is an excellent healthy upgrade. The freekeh with chicken was beautifully plated/decorated even for delivery, & the chicken itself was so tender & flavorful! I MUST congratulate whoever thought of the packaging design for to-go items. Everything is neatly packaged in aesthetic cling-film trays so nothing spills in transit. Perfect to take to work, picnics, potlucks. If this was'just' delivery, I am eager to experience the in-person food & service! A side note: people who rated the resto poorly because of less authentic dishes - this is OKAY. They are transparent about wanting to offer healthier ways to eat traditional dishes. They have also created their own take on certain things & that's OKAY too! Nobody said they are trying to be some other traditional resto with strict'correct' ingredients or flavors. They are being creative, & I can appreciate that, even if others don't. LOVED IT, I need more!
Excellent food & service. Can't go wrong coming here.
We arrived 7 mins past their kitchen closing time in the afternoon, & the owner made an exception & let us dine, which we were grateful for. What followed was nothing short of an incredible culinary experience.
The dishes were diverse, exceptionally well-executed, & all had their own subtly creative but approachable flair.
The environment is curated but inviting. The vibe is relaxed but upscale - an embodiment of some of the best parts of the Montréal food scene.
Staff are all friendly & attentive, like they care about your experience, & like they enjoy working there!
