Absolutely loved our experience at Bayrut.
The atmosphere is elegant, warm, & beautifully designed - perfect for a cozy dinner with friends or family. Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented, from the creamy hummus & vibrant tabbouleh to the perfectly cooked octopus & delicious desserts. The attention to detail in both taste & presentation truly stood out.
A special thank you to Andrew for the exceptional hospitality & attentive service throughout the evening. He made us feel genuinely welcomed & taken care of. & compliments to Chef Pierre - the food was outstanding, authentic, & crafted with real passion. You can feel the quality in every dish.
Highly recommend this place if you're looking for refined Lebanese cuisine, a stylish ambiance, & excellent service in Montreal. We will definitely be coming back! ✨
Delicious fresh Lebanese food & amazing service from our waiter Andrew!!
Food Taste Is Amazing Professional Chefs Are Serving Really Taste Items

Very Clean Environment Restaurant
Luxury Sitting Area I Suggest You All Visit Once Time
I had a great experience at Bayrut Restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented-especially the mezze dishes. The atmosphere felt warm & inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening. Service was friendly & attentive without being overwhelming. Definitely a spot I'd come back to & recommend to anyone who enjoys authentic Lebanese cuisine
A must try! Different than other Lebanese restaurants in the city. You'll find dishes you only eat at home. The food was so tasty & well executed. The staff was attentive, joyful & on point. Will definitely return. Highly recommend.
We ordered the tasting menu for 2 people. The food itself was fine & the portion was huge. The food didn't quite fit our taste buds as we found every dish to be very acidic & sour. That's not the reason for the negative review though.
From start to finish, the service at our table was noticeably different from the two tables right beside us. We watched water & pita bread get refilled automatically at neighboring tables without them having to ask. We had to ask multiple times & were largely ignored. When we finally flagged someone down, our requests either weren't followed through on or arrived very late. Both servers seemed visibly tense & on edge the entire evening.
At one point I had to ask for toilet paper in the washroom. Instead of simply bringing it, one of the servers went into the kitchen visibly upset, gesturing & pointing out the kitchen door while complaining to a colleague. When I noticed this through the see through kitchen door, the male server caught my eye & his expression made it clear he knew the behavior was inappropriate. I ended up having to ask a different server entirely.
To top it off, both tables near us received complimentary items at the end of their meals. We received nothing - & instead found a glass of wine on our bill that we never ordered. The explanation was that the tables were close together & it was a mix-up. The wine was removed, but there was no real apology, no acknowledgment of the overall experience, & no effort to make things right.
I can't say for certain why our table was treated so differently. But the contrast was consistent & impossible to miss. We felt like an afterthought all evening, & that's not something I'd wish on anyone visiting a restaurant.
It could br the equivalen of a hidden gem. Beirut restaurant offers
a wonderful experience with delicious Middle Easterm cuisine. The food here is fresh, beautifully presented & full of flavor. The friendly staff & comfortable atmosphere make it a perfect place to enjoy quality food with family & friends.
One of the main reasons I love going to BAYRUT is actually how I feel after I leave. The food is authentic, fresh, natural, & beautifully prepared, so you still get that high-end dining experience without feeling overly heavy afterward like at a lot of other restaurants.
The atmosphere is also perfect for a first date or couples night out, but equally amazing for family gatherings because Lebanese food is meant to be shared. My favorite spots in Montreal.
Excellent service & conseils sur le menu. Repas excellent & menu varié. Peu achalandé, mais c'était un mardi soir. Une vraie immersion libanaise.
Very good restaurant.Nice service & foods taste are awesome.Everyone should try it
Wow. Bayrut on William Street completely impressed me.
The flavours are bold, fresh, & genuinely authentic - the kind of food that makes you pause because the taste hits you in the best way. Every dish felt thoughtful & beautifully made.
If you love Lebanese food, or just great food done with care, Bayrut is absolutely worth it. I left already planning my next visit.
Best Lebanese food in Montreal without question! Just WOW, reminded me & my family about our grandmothers food back in Lebanon.
The BEST Lebanese food in Canada. I have never tried such variety of authentic Lebanese food anywhere else in Canada. Of course there are many good Lebanese fast food chains that are great but Bayrut is such a unique place to actually finally introduce real Lebanese authentic cuisine in Montreal!! BRAVO - please come to Vancouver :-)
I never leave reviews, but if this helps even one person avoid the kind of disappointment I experienced at Bayrut, it'll feel worth the time & money I lost.
To start, the portion sizes are laughably small. If you have even a modest appetite, this isn't the place for you. More importantly, the food itself was extremely underwhelming. It tasted debatably worse than what you'd get from a basic takeout spot, which makes the pricing incredibly hard to justify. You're honestly better off saving your money & going somewhere like Amir if the taste of the food is what you're after.
I ordered the'chef's choice' chicken & rice, & it was easily the most disappointing meal I've ever had. It came with a tiny portion of plain white rice, dry & under-seasoned chicken, & boiled, mushy potatoes-all for a jawdropping $40. I actually laughed when I took my first bite because I couldn't believe this was being presented as a featured dish at that price point.
The appetizers were all the same. The Kibbeh were dry & crumbly, the cheese stuffed phyllo was offensively salty (coming from someone who adores salty food, this was inedible) & the stuffed vine leaves were simply'meh'. If you've ever had the canned ones from Costco, they taste the exact same….
Even if the meal had been FREE, I'd still feel the same way. I don't mind paying for quality, but this felt like a complete mismatch between cost & value.
The one bright spot was our waitress. she was genuinely kind & attentive, & I appreciated her service.
