The hospitality & food was 10/10! Everything is so well thought by & the owner went above & beyond to make us taste the best of the Lebanese cuisine! Very authentic experience, it feels like home!
It pains me to write this review because I genuinely wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, it fell short. The food was decent, but nowhere near the standards set by other Lebanese restaurants on the island of Montreal. While the restaurant aims to stand out by offering a more'homemade' style of Lebanese cuisine, it doesn't quite capture the authentic flavors one would expect. That said, the dessert options helped improve the overall experience, & the service was excellent throughout.
Beautiful experience! The food tasted so authentic, like a comforting home-cooked meal made with love. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, & beautifully presented. The freshly baked bread was absolutely delicious - warm, soft, & the perfect start to the meal. The service was just as memorable, with a friendly & welcoming team that made us feel right at home. Everything came together to create a warm & inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for genuine Lebanese flavors.
What makes this restaurant truly special is the hospitality, it reminded me so much of the kind of warmth & generosity you find in Lebanon. The owners are the heart of this place. From the moment we walked in, they welcomed us with genuine care, big smiles, & an attention to detail that made us feel like honoured guests at the bar. You can tell how much pride they take in both the food & the experience they create.
The food itself was fantastic! Flavourful, fresh, & beautifully prepared. Every bite felt authentic & made with love.
& while the owners set the tone with their incredible hospitality, our server Joya carried it through with attentive & kind service.
It's rare to find a spot where the food & the people running it are equally unforgettable. This is one of those places. Thank you for a great night ❤?
Bayrut is more than just an authentic lebanese restaurant, it is a one-of-a kind dining experience. From the moment you walk-in to this place, you feel warmth & kindness.
They offer you a welcome trio that consists of freshly baked pita, that just came out of the oven. It is accompanied by delicious olives that are directly imported from Lebanon & home-made butter that I have never tasted anything alike previously. Their'Hummus Bayrut' is a must-try, it is very creamy.
It is very evident that the owners of this place worked tirelessly to come up with this gourmet menu. They take care of every detail from the decoration of the place to the food to the music playing in the background.
I am so happy I got to experience Bayrut & I am looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended!
A variety of Mediterranean dishes, only that the taste isn't (lebanese)as the dishes name are.. like fattoush, kafta, batata 7arra...
The place the environment, the staff...are nice
Restaurant à faire absolument, staff incroyablement gentil, une cuisine vraiment délicieuse & une ambiance & un décor magique. Nous reviendrons bientôt !

This review is based on an independent visit, aiming for objectivity. While Bayrut Restaurant serves respectable Middle Eastern cuisine, there are other options in Montreal that offer **greater value & superior flavors** for the price.
The food at Bayrut is decent but not distinctive. The restaurant advertises fresh ingredients, yet only provides lemonade made from imported syrup. Bread servings were notably minimal, which was especially disappointing for dishes like hummus, labneh, brown butter, & kibbeh niyeh-frequently eaten with bread, but here, I resorted to using a fork. Rice portions were also sparse & failed to complement the otherwise tasty kibbeh arnabieh, which was the highlight of the meal. The three types of kibbeh niyeh (walnut, rose petals, pistachios) failed to impress, & the hummus was comparably ordinary.
Overall, Bayrut did not stand out from other Middle Eastern restaurants in Montreal. The experience lacked the transportive aromas, flavors, & hospitality you expect in a standout establishment. Service was satisfactory but showed signs of inexperience, with some staff evidently still undergoing training.
In short, Bayrut felt indistinguishable from several other unremarkable restaurants in Montreal; neither the ambiance, nor the food, nor the generosity made the visit memorable.

Came with a group of around 10 for lunch & had a wonderful meal. We shared a lot of dishes & some highlights were the fresh bread with butter & cheese, the Baba Ganoush, & the Veggie Shish Barak. Service was very friendly & prompt, will definitely be back :)
