I used to be a regular customer at this restaurant, & my favorite dish was the Paneer Guntur Biryani. However, for the last three times, I've noticed that it barely contains more than three pieces of paneer.
Taste-wise, it's still good, but when you're paying for paneer biryani, you expect a fair amount of paneer not just rice. Hopefully, they will consider this feedback & improve the portion size.View more

Samosa: should be fried when customers have ordered them. Don't fry them in advance. They are not crispy nor hot.
Please add ice to the restaurant.

Went to this restaurant expecting a nice, relaxing meal after a long day, but apparently, it's also moonlighting as a nightclub. We were seated right next to a blaring speaker, & despite politely requesting a volume adjustment (or at least a better music selection), nothing was done. Because, of course, why would a dine-in restaurant prioritize an enjoyable dining experience? If you love eating your meal while being force-fed ear-splitting Bollywood remixes, this is your place. Otherwise, maybe pick a spot that understands people come to restaurants to eat, not attend an unsolicited DJ set.View more

The best Indian restaurant in downtown in my opinion.
One thing I'd like to share is, the background music was quite loud, & when we requested a volume reduction, the staff seemed to take it negatively rather than considering the customer's comfort. It would be great if such requests were received with understanding rather than defensiveness.View more

Visited this place 2 times in a week . Weekend specials are dum biryani .we got the mutton dum biryani , as it was the least spicy options , there are a variety of options as per your spice level . For starters we ordered fish chilli , which was almost Mumbai style . On a week day visit we had a baby corn starter , mutton ghee roast biryani .. ordered the lime soda , the first time i got without masala , the 2nd time with masala . So I would advise to specify , if you are not looking for a surprise .View more

I'm giving 3 stars because one item was missing from my order - they forgot to pack the filter coffee. Please double-check orders next time, as I was really looking forward to that coffee after just landing in Montreal. Delicious, authentic. Real spicy level & the biryani is excellent. Grains are well separated & the chicken pieces are rich & complex. The service is great as well. We went on a Friday night & it was super busy. There were only two girls & they did a phenomenal job. Surprising good beer selection too (local Knowlton brewery on tap)View more
