Many things went wrong. It started with my reservation. I called to make a reservation at 7:30pm on the same day to being told once I got there that my reservation was made for the following night. I never said it was for tomorrow. The front desk told us we had to wait 30+min since it was full. I looked inside & the restaurant was barely half full. After expressing my dissatisfaction,they offered a table at the bar section. The food itself was ok, not great but not bad either. We had fried calamari, caesar salad & fillet mignon. The calamari was good but very greasy & had a lot of batter. Some pieces were very small & tasted only like overused oil. The ceasar salad was a bit blend, lacking sauce & the bacon & croutons were very not crunchy. The fillet mignon was good but the plate lacked finesse. It looked like a poor deli quality dish. No sauce comes with the steak...... you have to pay extra for it. I mean come on, very dissatisfying to pay so much for a pile of fries, basic grilled veggies & no sauce. Finally the service was very slow. Not because the waiter was very busy but because he was just wasting so much time small talking & complaining himself about how management is not good. We asked ketchup for the fries & while clearly acknowledging he never brought it to our table. We also waited over 20 minutes just to pay for the meal. We saw the waiter talk with the girls at the front desk laughing for over 5min while we were there waiting for that eye contact for the final bill with empty plates. In all respect he was not a bad waiter but just wasn't focused. Over for 183$ for a meal for two it was just not worth it. If the food has better presentation & if the steak came with sauce, & if service was better it could get a 4 star but this was definitely a 2.5 to 3 star experience. _______________________ Update: I would like to mention that management was kind enough to offer their apologies & took measures to make our next visit better. I appreciate their efforts.

My son & I had dinner here on July 24th for my birthday & the service is outstanding. The receptionists at the door are smiling, courteous & welcoming. We were excellently attended to by Adrien who with his vast experience made several great suggestions. Manager Maryanne came by to chat several times to ensure we were satisfied. WOW what service.! I know you just opened, but please never lose this magic touch. The atmosphere was great, we sat in the lounge area near the window. The food was outstanding...clam chowder, prime rib sandwich, cesar salad & an outstanding filet mignon...thank you chef Sami ! I love Baton Rouge, but since I live in Lasalle, this branch is my new go to. Thanks for the creme brulee, Adrien & a wonderful birthday experience. Bravo everybody!!!
Le bâton rouge est mon resto préféré je suis aller à beaucoup de bâton rouge ôtant sur la rive nord que la rive sud & toute l'île de Montréal celui de boucherville étais mon préféré mais aujourd'hui lui de ville lasalle la surpassé & de loin tout étais parfait ôtant l'accueil le service du serveur qt que dire de la nourriture qui etais à la perfection tout étais excellent juste un gros woww & bonne continuité

The price is right $$.. not expensive Excellent food .. 💯 Tom Sabatino .. the BOSS greeted us with a big smile 😊 .. very polite, soft spoken man. A nice location! I ate outside with my family & the terrace was pleasant & quiet. The food was fantastic (I ordered the branzino with risotto) & the service was excellent! Our server was Tara, she was super helpful & welcoming :) Definitely going again!
Sunday evening three of us went to the recently opened Baton Rouge in Lasalle. Struck by the elegantly modern furnishings, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere, we were greeted by smiling hostesses & served by Troy, a most attentive waiter. Our starter, a glass of sangria followed by delicious main courses, & ending with a unique & tasty keylime pie. A definite "yes" & we shall certainly return!
Our waitress Lena was wonderful greeted us with a smile her service was excellent we will surely go back the food was delicious & worth every dollar she even made a fresh pot of coffee

Baton Rouge always amazing one of my favorites steakhouse. But Angrignon's not offer special list like t-bone. One more surprise me is I did only order filet mignon, but they still give me whole plate. Btw Adrien's suggestion "double baked potato" worth a try. Thank you Jasmine!!!
I was new to the area & wanted to try foods in the local area so I came here. It was spontaneous so I was glad I didn't need a reservation for just myself. As soon as I walked in, i was IMMEDIATELY tended to & cared for by this kind & sweet lady Lena. She was honestly the best thing about this place & made my experience a whole lot more enjoyable. If there were more servers like her, this place would be absolutely teeming with returning customers & new ones as well. She would constantly stop by to make sure I had any & everything I needed & had my food brought to my table quicker than I anticipated. I ordered the prime rib & it was absolutely delectable. My props to the chefs they are truly remarkable. The decor was also very pleasing to the eyes & the ambience was very calming. I, FOR SURE will be back here someday with some friends & family.
Tarnished HBD. Walked in was given menus & then radio silence. For everyone's information it wasn't busy. While sitting & waiting watched 3 tables who came in after us get served. After exactly 26 minutes we got up & made our way out. While walking out i tell the hostess the service sucks best of luck if you don't fix this you won't last long. A lady tried to apologize & offered to make things right. Unfortunately she was one of multiple people who noticed we hadn't been. Sincerely hoping that you guys can turn this around & not become another name on the list of failed businesses.
Bien aimé notre repas...Bonne Nourriture Bonne Ambiance...Bon service..le patron est très aimable! Nous avons attendu un peu avant d'avoir nos consommations... un léger problème de gestion de temps! Bon endroit Qualité Prix!
