Barranco is a modern Peruvian cuisine restaurant located in the heart of Plateau Mont-Royal on Saint-Denis Street. It offers authentic flavors thanks to several products imported directly from Peru.
Barranco MTL delivers a lively Peruvian dining experience with fresh ceviche, octopus and seafood rice that feel authentic yet vibrant in a Montreal setting. The menu balances traditional and fusion twists, while cocktails and nonalcoholic options impress with creativity and balance. The service and atmosphere are consistently praised, offering attentive hospitality, a warm, festive vibe, and a welcoming terrace that suits celebrations or casual nights out. Generous portions and a memorable dessert finish make the visit feel like a feast of textures, colors, and bright Peruvian flavors.
In my new favorite peruvian food cuisine restaurant it is amazingly good, awesome drinks also & one of my favorite is causa but also gotta day the ceviche is very good & often restaurants cant make it this good & fresh. Just positive vibes thank you !
The food was amazing , the limo saltado was simply delicious, the drinks & the desserts The attention was seamless & good atmosphere . The music was a bit loud but we had a great time
Great service & great food. The hostess did everything she could to find a table for us on a busy Sunday night. Ceviche & octopus both well worth the wait! Perfect level of acidic & spicy!
This place was impossibly good. I just wish it stayed open longer. We went to Montreal to explore the culinary scene. We tried all the recommendations & pre-planned to amplify our experience. But it was on Sunday walking down St.Dennis when we accidentally bumped into Barranco, & you know what? It was the greatest Montreal experience I ever had.
