Cuisine décevante. Pas très raffinée. La brochette de filet mignon avait un goût de chèvre...Du maïs à toutes les sauces sans aucune cohérence dans les plats. Le ceviche de mahi mahi moyen. Prix élevés qui ne se justifient pas au regard de l'assiette & de la qualité des plats. Pisco Sour au fruit de la passion correct. Ce sera ma première & dernière visite.
Nourriture très bonne, belle assiette, aliments frais & délicieux. Nous étions sur la terrasse, alors ambiance ok à pars que nous avions la table pour six avec un arbre en plein milieu...Service laisse à désirer. Ma collègue à commander un drink que la serveuse n'a jamais commandé, elle continuait à discuter avec une autre collègue. Nous avons demandé à une autre personne qui lui a apporté. Service très long. Long avant de prendre les commandes & long avant de recevoir ce que nous avons demandé.

Hey food blogger @sotastywithnady here & my experience at Barranco was absolutely phenomenal! The service was magnificent, best group of staff ever! & the food was so unique & every dish had something special to offer. Highly recommend :)
Very nice place. I had two mocktails that were super tasty. My boyfriend had the shrimp tacos. He loved them, but the roasted poblano pepper was a bit overpowering for his taste. I had the vegan stuffed jalapenos, & they were truly amazing. The service was okay, it took some time to receive water. Even though we asked our server, we had to ask another one, & people who arrived after us received water first. Despite this, the restaurant is very nice & the food is great.
I was curious to try Peruvian food, & I wasn't disappointed ! Cocktails were 👌👏, & the dishes ! I couldn't make up my mind on what to choose as everything looked delicious, but I went with the ceviche classico, as I love ceviche & its not always easy to find one in montreal. I would 💯 recommand it ! Very nice atmosphere, we were there on a Sunday night so it took a bit longer than planned, but it didn't change anything in the rating I give this place. Great to come for a date or with friends !
Je suis allé pour mon anniversaire la semaine passée & c'était délectable! Service de qualité, & la nourriture était apprêtée avec soin. Lomo Saltado, vraiment bon mais essayez aussi les entrées & les à côté, ça vaut la peine! Pis si tu veux un bon pisco sour, il est tout aussi superbe.
Vraiment une cuisine Péruvienne raffinée & délicieuse. De belle découvertes à faire en prenant la formule de partage de plats. Le personnel nous conseille très bien en fonction de nos goûts & du niveau de notre appétit. Pisco Sour vraiment bon!
The food is actually good, but the portions were small & everything is overpriced & the service took so long. We were a party of 6 & things moved really slow. Everything tasted fresh which was great but we all left still hungry. & the Lomo Saltado didnt come with rice How are you gonna have the most staple dish & not include rice? The cocktails were nice though. For being a Latin restaurant, the music during dinner was some type of weird EDM mix that the DJ insisted on playing & did not change the music. I asked the waitress & the DJ to put some more cultural fitting songs but they said they couldnt do that? Weird. The loud music & the weird mix made it difficult to talk to friends & the music was so weird it was actually distracting. I suggest you check out another spot.

Food is always amazing but service is bad. We waited 30 minutes for our drinks, asked for water never got it, our appetizers came after our main dishes. When we told the waitress she said we should've specified that we wanted our appetizers before the main dish as if it wasn't obvious. Nobody came to check on us. It's too bad because we like the place but it's our second time going & both times we weren't impressed with the service.
La nourriture est toujours délicieuse mais le service est épouvantable. Attendre 40 minutes pour des cocktails c'est impensable. On a demandé de l'eau on ne la jamais reçu. Les entrées sont arrivées après les repas principaux & l'excuse qu'on nous à donner c'est qu'on a pas précisé qu'on les voulait en entrée...alors qu'il s'agit d'entrées.
I can see I'm not the only one to say this - The service is really subpar at this place. We enjoy the food here but the service is so poor that it's enough not to go again. Extremely slow. Not friendly. Not hospitable. Quite decent food. But service matters a lot, especially at a place that's fairly costly.

Opçao interessante para tomar um drink e comer alguns petiscos. Porções interessantes, sabores diferentes. Comemos ceviche, bem gostoso, tacos e um prato com frango.
Great spot for a meal & a few drinks! We sat by the bar & had a very good experience. The bartender was creative & the drinks were refreshing. We also had the ceviche & tacos. Both were delicious & packed with flavors.
We went for a company lunch. The service was great taking into consideration that we were more than 20 people. The food was tasty & with presentation. I'll definitely comeback.
