Once in awhile you find a special place that exceeds every possible expectation. Barranco is one of those restaurants! The staff was outstanding; friendly, knowledgeable, attentive. The atmosphere was lively with creative lighting design & hip "beat"music just loud enough to enough but not enough to overpower. The best part however, was the food. We ordered 4 of the Tapas for the 2 of us. This was one of the most outstanding & memorable meals we have ever had. The presentation of each dish was exquisite. The flavors were bright, inspired & innovative. We had seafood & meat & everything was cooked to perfection. I not only recommend this restaurant but will go as far to say this is a must if you visit Montreal. I am already looking forward to our next visit!

Première expérience franchement top, j'ai décidé de revenir avec mes parents mais déception cette fois ci... yess gros couacs sur le service, un placement pas top alors qu'on avait réservé & la musique BEAUCOUP trop forte... même les serveurs ne parviennent pas à nous entendre.
J'ai eu la mauvaise idée d'essuyer mon assiette avec ma serviette car elle était mouillée (sortie de machine sûrement pas un problème du tout) mais en levant ma serviette elle était NOIRE, j'ai retenté pour être sure avec un autre côté, on voyait carrément les traces de mes doigts la où j'avais appuyé sur l'assiette... hygiène qui laisse à désirer. Après c'est pas comme si j'essuyais toutes mes assiettes au restaurant donc peut être que c'est le cas ailleurs mais j'avoue que ça m'a un peu laissée bouche bée. La nourriture quant à elle est toujours splendide donc je reviendrai pour ça.

Place, food & service really outstanding. Really nice & easy to make reservations online, & everything was very smooth. It can be a bit expensive which make it not very affordable to have dinner there more often, but it totally worth it. Thanks for the great experience. :)
