Barcola Bistro is widely regarded as a hidden gem that offers an intimate, cozy, and nostalgic atmosphere highlighted by unique vintage music played on vinyl. Guests consistently praise the high-quality, flavorful food made with fresh ingredients, noting that the menu is both inspired and expertly prepared. While the majority of experiences reflect warm, gracious service and a delightful setting perfect for special evenings or casual dates, there are occasional reports of inconsistent hospitality. The food was delicious & the service was great. Fresh & high quality ingredients - the three courses were perfection. We will
Definitely be back! My only regret is not taking any photos. To include in my review. Very cool atmosphere & we loved all the music that was playing as well.

Excellent sur toute la ligne. Bonne nourriture. Super service chaleureux. Ambiance feutrée avec les disques Vinyles ajoutent beaucoup au look & ambiance de cet endroit magique….

Had a absolutely stellar birthday dinner with my sibling! Menu changes every week! But I have no doubt that if I ever get treated there again it will be fantastic

I brought my sister here for her birthday & we were both very happy with the experience. All of the courses were delicious. The portions seem small at first but we were both full by the end of the night. I especially loved the panna cotta which I had never tried before. The atmosphere was my favourite part; it is a very intimate setting with beautiful music & ambience. If I could afford it, I would eat here every week. I will certainly be back. Thank you, Barcola, for a great night!

Cute restaurant but ridiculously overpriced for what you get. At 65$ for 3 dishes, you expect haute cuisine which this is definitely not.

Went there in august, on a Wednesday for the apperitivo tasting menu, specified it on the booking but when I got there the lady told us that it's not available. Instead proposed us overpriced tomatoes with salt & olive oil (yes almost 30$ for uncooked tomates) & a spaetzle dish that's not even Italian in my repertoire. Music was too loud, i couldn't even hear the server talking & her recommendations. It was so deceiving I went to go get bagels afterwards to finish my meal. I had high hopes, but unfortunetly won't be back

This restaurant is a beautiful spot in Montreal, loved the decoration,& the owner & his wife are very friendly & nice. We went there in month of August & they had different menu compared to the rest of the year. I really liked tbe smoked salmon on grilles bokchoy. Panne cotta was too soft but the taste was nice & brownie was very nice. You need to book your table in advance.
