I brought my sister here for her birthday & we were both very happy with the experience. All of the courses were delicious. The portions seem small at first but we were both full by the end of the night. I especially loved the panna cotta which I had never tried before. The atmosphere was my favourite part; it is a very intimate setting with beautiful music & ambience. If I could afford it, I would eat here every week. I will certainly be back. Went there in august, on a Wednesday for the apperitivo tasting menu, specified it on the booking but when I got there the lady told us that it's not available. Instead proposed us overpriced tomatoes with salt & olive oil (yes almost 30$ for uncooked tomates) & a spaetzle dish that's not even Italian in my repertoire. Music was too loud, i couldn't even hear the server talking & her recommendations. It was so deceiving I went to go get bagels afterwards to finish my meal. I had high hopes, but unfortunetly won't be back
This restaurant is a beautiful spot in Montreal, loved the decoration,& the owner & his wife are very friendly & nice. We went there in month of August & they had different menu compared to the rest of the year. I really liked tbe smoked salmon on grilles bokchoy. Panne cotta was too soft but the taste was nice & brownie was very nice. You need to book your table in advance.
A hidden gem! The background music didn't prevent us from having a conversation; the service was great; the food was great! This place is cozy & lovely!

J'adore ce resto, à la fois simple & romantique. La bouffe est tout simplement délicieuse! Pas beaucoup de choix, ce que je trouve très normal & même préférable dans un petit resto. Belle ambiance, bonne musique. Je recommande fortement!
Hands down one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in all aspects & one that I will never forget! It felt more like visiting the home of a friend, I felt that comfortable. & the food was incredible. It felt like a lot of love was put into each course

I & two friends had a perfectly lovely evening at Barcola a few weeks' back. The music was great, the service was warm & efficient, the food was yummy & just the right sized portions. Wine list is varied & very reasonably priced. Will definitely return many times in the future!
