We stopped in at Barcelo's on a snowy Sunday evening for dinner on our way home. It was getting late, & the roads were quiet, so we were pleasantly surprised by how warm & welcoming the restaurant felt as soon as we stepped inside. The staff greeted us right away & quickly took our order at the counter, which was especially nice after being out in the cold.
We ordered the family meal & added a poutine on the side. Despite it being late in the evening, the food came out very quickly, & there was plenty of seating available. The service throughout our visit was consistently friendly & attentive, making the experience feel relaxed & easy.
As for the food-everything was delicious. The potatoes were perfectly cooked with great texture & flavor, & the chicken was done to absolute perfection: tender, juicy, & well-seasoned. The accompanying salad was fresh & surprisingly flavorful, rounding out the meal nicely.
The poutine was also enjoyable, with a generous amount of cheese & a hearty portion of meat. The only thing we would have loved is just a bit more gravy, but overall it was still very satisfying.
The restaurant itself feels like a bit of a hidden gem-seemingly in the middle of nowhere since it's not located in a particularly busy area, yet it has a large parking lot & a warm, inviting interior that makes it feel comfortable & homey.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Barcelo's & were impressed by both the quality of the food & the friendliness of the staff. We definitely plan to return for a second visit.

20$ pour 2 petits morceaux de poulet avec plus dos que de chair à manger accompagné d'un peu de salade & de pattate c'est cher payé.... C'est bon mais les portions sont ridicule.

Riz blanc assaisonner, salade du jardins vinaigrette , côté levé avec sauce sucrée piquantes,dans l'ensemble la sauce sur les côtes trop piquante,le riz trop simpliste sans goût & une salade trop simple parcontre dans l'ensemble se fût moyen comme repas mais pour 35$ c'est trop cher $$$$ selon mon avis

Je voulait decouvir.Je suis allée le chercher.Demi poulet; frites, salade du jardin, sauce Piri Piri.J'ai aussi commander 2 tartelettes portugaises. Poulet portion petit très cuit au charbon trop sec, frites trop sec.Déçus. BON POINT LES TARTELLETTES DELICEUX!

Bien heureuse d'avoir ce restaurant portugais à Chambly. Meilleure poutine au poulet ! Nous prenons souvent le combo familial poulet frites & pommes de terre portugaises. J'adore la vinaigrette dans la salade. Je recommande ce restaurant, sans hésiter.

I was surprised how good the food was. The chicken Piri Piri was just delicious, the rice & the house dressing for the salad also wow. Also important to know that it's very affordable. I recommend & planning on going back very soon. This is a south sore hidden jem.
