BarBara est décrit comme un endroit cosy avec une bonne carte de vins où la focaccia, la burrata, les pâtes fraîches et le menu italien varié enchantent les groupes et les soirées entre amis, la focaccia à la ricotta et le cacio e pepe étant souvent cités aux côtés d'arancini et de bucatini; l'ambiance sur la terrasse ou à l'intérieur est régulièrement présentée comme accueillante et élégante, et les cocktails et les vins sont fréquemment mis en avant en accompagnement des plats, mais plusieurs avis signalent des portions peut être petites pour le prix, un service parfois lent ou surchargé et du bruit aux heures d'affluence ou sur la terrasse; dans l'ensemble, l'endroit est perçu comme une adresse de quartier très appréciée pour des saveurs bien travaillées, un bon choix de vins et une ambiance conviviale et animée, avec une expérience qui peut varier selon le moment et le rythme.
BarBara was on my list for a while, & I'm glad to have finally tried it, especially for a date night! The atmosphere is so cozy & romantic, literally a candlelight dinner! The food was great, I especially enjoyed the burrata, cocktail shrimp & gnocchi! I'll have to come back to try more dishes!
Cozy bar with a bit more upscale vibe. Ordered literally everything on the money for 6 people. Was around 40$ per person. You can't go wrong with any of the food. Portions are decent & fulfilling. Service was great & prompt, however there wasn't a lot of people when I went there. Added as one of my new favorite bars to go to.

When you can get a spot at BarBara you'll definitely have a night to remember. No matter what you order you can't miss: the gnocchi is incredible, the fries are covered in parmesan (never a bad thing for us) & don't even get us started on the focaccia. The wine selection is incredible. To have a spot with such a wide inventory that is constantly changing is incredible. The service is a bit slow but like we said they are always really busy. Great wine bar with fantastic Italian food in the Sud-Ouest
Went here for a birthday lunch with a friend & had outstanding service. The staff was very friendly & genuinely seemed like they were happy to be there, which is a rare occurrence nowadays. Brandon, the bar man, in particular, was very passionate about his craft & knowledgeable in his recommendations. He contributed a lot to making my birthday meal special & the mood happy for the rest of the day.
With time we ended up finding our favourite corners in the city, by far I can tell BarBara easily & as fast as the flash, became my favourite place. The food is simply yes! Go for it, get the appetizers (arancini & calamari ate may faves), any pasta would be a great fit to a cozy night, but don't skip the focaccia... Anyways do like me, go offer & order different food everytime. Have fun!

A friend & I had the most wonderful evening at Bar Bara last night. We popped in unexpectedly for one drink & stayed for appys & a full dinner just because it felt so nice to be there. This was 100% due to one server who from he very first Hi was absolutely charming, knowledgeable & just so kind! Jacob described the menu with genuine excitement , had us trying new wines, & chatted with us in a way that was reminiscent of a small town catch up. A joy. The food is always top notch but as a business owner myself service is key & they've hired a gem. Bar Bara give Jacob a raise. Everyone else go enjoy an evening & stay awhile :)
