From the moment we arrived, Adam welcomed us with such warmth & professionalism that we immediately knew we were in great hands. He set the tone for what turned out to be a truly memorable evening.
Our waitress, Caissy, was simply the best. She was kind, attentive, knowledgeable, & genuinely passionate about making sure we had an exceptional experience. Her recommendations were fantastic, & she made us feel so well taken care of throughout the entire meal.
The sushi was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, & absolutely delicious. The Camo duck dish was to die for !!
Every dish was prepared with care, & the quality of the food matched the outstanding service.

Dès notre arrivée, Adam nous a accueillis avec beaucoup de professionnalisme & de gentillesse. Son accueil chaleureux a donné le ton à une soirée vraiment mémorable.
Notre serveuse, Caissy, est tout simplement extraordinaire. Attentionnée, souriante, professionnelle & passionnée par son travail, elle a pris le temps de nous conseiller & de s'assurer que tout était parfait du début à la fin. C'est, sans aucun doute, l'une des meilleures serveuses que nous ayons eues!
Les sushis étaient d'une fraîcheur remarquable, magnifiquement présentés & absolument délicieux. Le Camo était incroyable ! Chaque plat était préparé avec soin, & la qualité de la cuisine était à la hauteur du service exceptionnel.
Un immense merci à Caissy, Adam & à toute l'équipe de Momiji pour cette magnifique soirée. Nous avons déjà hâte de revenir!
I was craving a nice nice out & it happened to be a Saturday. While we are not anti-social we are not keen on crowded restaurants. Normally a night out means Joe Beef or Park, but not on Saturdays. I checked the reservations & it seemed wide open so I booked a 6:30 time slot.
We arrived on time & while there was plenty of action outside, inside the restaurant was quite peaceful & we tu ked away in a quiet corner.
I liked that it seemed to me, even if they had been fully booked, there was nice open spaces & tables weren't mashed together. I wouldn't hesitate to book during busier times given the layout.
I feel like we had to service persons who came to check on us at appropriate intervals, refilling our water & providing fresh plating.
I started with a mocktail as I was driving, my husband got the house brew. The cocktail was very good, a spicy, almost like a margaritas, tart with a kick. I am not sure the dealcoholized tequila added anything? But it was a good drink.
We started with Shrimp Bao & Cod Cheek. The cod cheek was delicious. I was kind of thinking it would be adjacent to Kama but no, but it was fabulous, creamy, salty, all good things. I liked the shrimp bag but both hubs & I would not order it again. It was kind of meh.
Our mains were the box o sushi & stuffs, & 2 making rolls. These were all scrumptious but I was stuffed. I think next time I would only order 1 maki & the box to share.
For 2 people, I think 1 app, 1 maki & the box would be ample. For context we are big persons, so it's not like we are light eaters.
I would suggest budgeting about $150 pp for dinner with a drink included.

The sushi was incredibly fresh, with vibrant colours & clean, delicate flavours that stood out from the first bite. The fish was silky & buttery, paired with perfectly seasoned rice that gave each piece a beautiful balance of texture. What I loved most was how the menu felt modern & creative while still respecting traditional preparation & flavours, allowing the quality of the ingredients to shine through.
The whole experience felt smooth & effortless. The service was warm & attentive, & the modern, welcoming space created a relaxed atmosphere. Authentic, colourful, & thoughtfully crafted-this is the kind of place that makes you want to come back.
We tried the Momiji Box, the tuna truffle pizza, raw fish & everything was absolutely delicious. Each dish was packed with flavour & beautifully presented.ni
The Momiji Box was a particular highlight - a colourful journey of taste & texture. That said, the prices are a bit on the higher side, especially for the box itself, but it was definitely an enjoyable & memorable dining experience.

Absolutely fantastic place & I highly recommend eating there at least once. Menu is short, unique & inspiring. It does not have banalities such as dragon & rainbow rolls. Instead the menu offers curated selection of unique items such as fois gras roll, & ingredients that taste fresh, authentic & high quality. Do check out their menu here on Google Maps or online. Do not be put off by somewhat higher prices compared to the take out, corner store type of sushi restaurant. This place is in a different league. I really enjoyed my dinner & I would rather spend more for an amazing night out & go out less frequently than eat often at another run of the mill sushi place.
This place also has authentic Japanese beers that taste amazing such as red rice beer.
Decore is modern & inviting.
Service is impeccable.
Little details that you would expect from an upscale place are there.

Attention, ceux qui souhaitent profiter de l'extérieur pour l'été, le choix des tables & bancs manquent cruellement de confort. Choisissez l'espace intérieur si vous souhaitez plus de confort.
I was extremely impressed with my experience at this restaurant. The staff was attentive, professional, & genuinely welcoming from the moment I arrived. The service was outstanding throughout the entire meal.
The food was absolutely delicious. The Japanese-French fusion concept was executed beautifully, with unique flavors & high-quality ingredients in every dish. What impressed me even more was that the portions were very generous & surprisingly filling, leaving me completely satisfied.
Overall, this was an exceptional dining experience, & I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, & a memorable atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back!
Delicious baos, truffle sushi & tuna pizza !!! No pictures of the sushis because i polished off most of the food, i wouldve eaten everything but the portions are big so i was full !! 10/10
