very intimate vibes, great for a date. I really enjoyed the soft shell crab bun & the mazemen. would recommend getting a reservation instead of walking in.

I shared some entries with friends , & when I wanted to order my main dish, I asked if an specific entry dish could be my main if it was big enough , the waiter said yes & he would suggest to order it, when I received my "main dish" was even smaller than the other entries we ordered before..so of course I wasn't happy I had to order something else because that was clearly not enough. I can say that the food is good , nothing beyond normal but tasty, the place gets busy & of course could get loud.
Food was great, really fresh & interesting flavour combinations. I felt the service was a little slow - but I was there on a busy Friday night - so I totally understand.
A solid choice, have gone twice separated by a few months. Food is pretty good, service is good, ambience is okay. Have a good time until I see the bill, & then I'm immediately disappointed because other restaurants in this price range are just a lot better.

Un beau petit restaurant japonais avec un très bon accueil. C'était la première fois que je mangeais des nigiri, cela n'a pas été à mon goût mais j'ai quand même pu constater l'excellente qualité du poisson. L'entrée au daikon, le saké & le mochi étaient par contre très bons. Le seul bémol était le service un peu long mais ça reste supportable. Si vous aimez les plats à base de poissons crus, je pense que c'est un indispensable.
C'est un bel endroit & la nourriture était vraiment délicieuse. On a attendu un petit moment nos plats & la facture mais hormis cela on a passé une très bonne soirée !
Really good food (Japanese/Asian/a bit of Western fusion food)! I love it so much. The sashimi was fresh & delicious (only one kind of fish was okay). We ordered five different dishes, & they were all well-made, fresh, & tasty. The servers were super friendly. However, the price was quite high. I feel the presentation of Nirigi can still be improved. But will be back again!

This place is a must. Incredibly fresh fish meticulously prepared by chef. The staff is absolutely top notch & friendly. Amazing vibe. You will not be disappointed!
Was looking forward to this meal since last week due to the good reviews. Not sure how they got them or maybe it was just a bad day for me at the restaurant. Totally overhyped. My duck confit mazemen was bland, super tasteless like they had forgotten the salt? A friend had the otto ramen, & it was the same -bland soup. Only saving grace was the truffle mazemen due to the truffle taste. All three were lacking flavours. Quite disappointing. 2 stars saving grace for the duck. Was alright. Had better. Try this place if you're in for a non authentic japanese mazemen experience.

we had a great time here. food was really good. the ambiance & staff were delightful as well. will be going there more often & highly suggest you do the same!
After a disappointing dining experience at Joe Beef, I wandered down the street peering into all the other warm & welcoming looking restaurants, convinced that any of these could serve me a better meal than what I just had. So I picked Bar Otto at random & went the next night. What a great decision! The octopus was the highlight. The soft shell crabs were delicious. The soft doughy bao was also extremely satisfying.
