The place is really pretty & has good energy. We just stopped in for drinks & they were ok. The cocktails were a bit sweeter than expected.
The service was very attentive. At times a bit too attentive & their stopping by to see if we needed anything was a bit intrusive at times.

Nice vibes. Got lobster roll & $1 oysters. Delicious. Be prepared that oysters will take a bit to come as it gets busy on Sundays.

Beautiful, traditional décor, with very high ceilings. Often packed, & therefore loud with great bustling energy. Service on point, drinks well made, excellent bar selection. Food is good but menu dives between bar appetizers than are fine, with the mains showing more thought & care.

Went for the $1 oyster special on a Monday & was very disappointed. We chose to sit outside on this breezy beautiful day in late August. The service was OK, but the oysters were shucked with pieces of shell still in the oyster, which I do not like. We ordered the shrimp cocktail as a backup but the shrimp tasted nasty & smelled off. My companion thought they may have been mixed with or stored with the oysters since they had the same smell/taste. I've never had a bad shrimp cocktail until that day. & this was a fairly pricey place. Not going back & do not understand why so many good reviews unless we just were served an accidentally gone bad bunch of shrimp.

Paul, Axel & the team very courteously took care of us. We shared a large platter of various delicious appetizers (shrimp cocktail, halloumi, mushrooms, crudites, deviled eggs, bread, other stuff I can't recall & various sauces) - very filling at that point. Then we moved on to the caesar salad & lobster roll! All excellent, good sized portions. Very nice table on the outdoor terrasse during a beautiful night in the city. Add in some wine & a cocktail & it was a perfect evening.
