Bon choix de cocktails, Mixologues sur place alors ils m'ont concocté un mocktail épicé à mon goût. Nous avons opté pour l'entrée à partager & tout était bon. Le service est lent même si le bar n'est pas très achalandé. L'ambiance est superbe, j'adore le décor & l'histoire de l'endroit. Les banquettes & bancs sont très confortables, ça donne le goût de passer un bon moment.
I've loved Bar Dominion since they opened, & truly appreciated how they brought the magic of Dominion Square Tavern into their new endeavor. When I was looking for somewhere to celebrate my birthday this year, I knew there was no other choice! Every step of making this happen was incredibly smooth - from securing a reservation for 20 people, confirming everything in the lead-up, & actually having our celebration - Dominion made it easy, & made sure we were well taken care of. As always - impeccable food, delicious classic cocktails, & thoughtful service. I'll keep going back, & I'll keep suggesting it to anyone looking for a great spot! Thanks again guys ❤️
The atmosphere was amazing, very old school. Customer service was great & greeted us immediately. Bar tender was cognizant & served us immediately right at the bar. We ordered the old fashioned & I will say it was mid. Could have added an orange peel, Marciano cherries & a nice clear squared ice cube. Paid $20 for this drink & it was not worth it
The vibe & decor are awesome. Great location, delicious food & beautiful cocktails! There are quite a few gluten free options/modifications if you talk to your server. Raj took great care of us & we will definitely be back soon!!
Incredible staff. Meeting Raja the bartender was the cherry on top of our trip in Montreal. He is an exceptional person & we had a fantastic conversation with him. Can't wait to come back, such an awesome bar!

It's a fun after-work gatheting spot. A mix of communal tables &'shelf' seating. Fantastic cocktails. The food was simple but delish (tomato salad was the kind you wish you could get all year...calamari was light & delicate, fried chicken bites & caviar were crisp & hit the spot). We were definitely the'booners' in the room but loved the vibe, the DJ, & the service. It's loud, so not for the faint of heart or hearing.
Brought some friends to town, to show them a good time. Bar Dominion was one of our highlights! The bartenders & their cocktails were top drawer. Real professionals! & they helped initiate conversations between groups of guests. We actually met up with the same people who were seated next to us, the next night! I used to love the Old Dominion, but I would say Bar Dominion is even better! Great work. Thanks so much.
Bar Dominion was recommended by a local bar tender & the restaurant did not disappoint. We came on a Tuesday night but the atmosphere was lively & the food / drinks were on point. The ribs were great.

We came in for dinner last night & had a great time! Food was incredible - lobster roll, deviled eggs with cavier & the tomato salad were our favourites. They have a good, unique selection of cocktails. Service was superb- servers were super friendly & attentive. A minor thing that was a bit uncomfortable was the restaurant was very cold (even for summer temperatures outside). Can't wait to come back again- thanks for a phenomenal service!
Le bar est beau, avec une patine d'autrefois qui lui confère un charme évident. Mais le comportement du personnel, ouvertement âpre au gain, manque de finesse & est invraisemblable : on demande un conseil pour une bière ou un vin, le serveur insiste par trois fois sur le plus cher de la carte. Une entrée délicieuse de jambon & manchego est servie sans pain. Le serveur nous propose de commander de la foccacia pour 7$. On s'attend à mieux en termes de prestations dans un bar qui a des prétentions. Les factures arrivent. L'un de nous, qui a une facture de 24$, donne 30$ au serveur en espèces. Toujours ce même serveur demande si c'est complet. Le client est obligé de dire qu'il attend qu'on lui rende la monnaie. Il laisse ensuite 4$ (donc 16%) au serveur qui ne le remercie même pas. Franchement, c'est décevant. L'établissement donne l'impression d'une certaine classe, puis le personnel est ouvertement obsédé par l'argent. Un peu de classe, Messieurs!
I could see myself coming here on a regular basis at many different times of the day if I lived in MTL. Great vibe from food to drinks to people running the show.
Very impressed with every aspect of my two experiences at Bar Dominion. Lunch with friends, then a few days later a late night dinner & cocktails. Service was warm & welcoming. The food well above expectation & an atmosphere that made for easy enjoyment. I was surprised the place was not busier given how well guests are taken car of. I would call Bar Dominion a must visit day or night.
