My partner ordered takeout from here, & I was super excited because I was craving some Chinese food -- I live pretty far from most authentic Chinese food places in the Greater Montreal Area, & this was the closest place I could find since moving to the area. We ordered 2 fried dumplings & 1 xiaolongbao. My partner said the people serving him were super nice & friendly, & they gave him a small bowl of soup for free, which I identified for him as mung bean soup. The fried dumplings were juicy, & the xiaolongbao wasn't as soupy as I'm used to, but still very good & I enjoyed them. The whole meal really cured some of my homesickness I had from not eating any type of authentic Chinese food for awhile, especially the mung bean soup which I haven't had in a long time. It all made me very happy!
EDIT (August 2026): A year after update! Me & my partner have ordered here a few times since the initial 2025 review. To clarify, the mung bean soup was just a freebie for that random day we went from our first visit & I have never seen it in subsequent orders. We did randomly get a Starbucks coffee packet during Holiday 2025/26 season with our order once though! Other than that our other orders didn't have freebies. Just clarifying in case! I've currently have an addiction to their lamb xiaolongbao & that's my go-to order. I've also tried their hot sour soup once but it wasn't to my taste personally.
We have also ordered both in French & English here before on different visits, so both languages are fine.
Delicious, fresh, quality food. It's a small, tight spot with few tables more conducive to takeout. We arrived early & managed to snag the furthest table from the door because it gets cold with all the foot traffic. The soup dumplings were generously filled & flavorful. Wonderful discovery, we will return.
Service rapide, dumplings très bons, bon prix, la sauce soya maison est délicieuse. Juste 2-3 tables sur place, ils ont l'air de faire un majorité de commandes en takeout.
It is a dumpling restaurant, so try their dumplings, everything else is secondary. We ordered 3 different kinds of dumplings & their Imperial rolls.
Their spicy dumpling was my personal favorite, actually not that spicy but the chilli oil aroma fills your senses as you devour it. 😋 Kids loved their shrimp & lamb varieties.
Overall, this place is on par with other dumplings restaurants in the downtown & Queen Mary area. I gave the 5 stars rating for the value, it is a little cheaper than other places which made it worth the extra star.
The place is very small though, it could probably seat around 10~14 people? No bathroom. Better for takeout.
The staff is very polite & kind, I feel welcomed each time I go there. The food is really good, the Xiao long bao are as good as the ones you can eat in montreal chinatown, it is very nice to have good dumpling so close of my house. Today i ordered 2 types of dumplings, I had more than enough for myself & it only costed me 20$ I will definetly continue to come very often & I recommend this place without esitation. TO TRY ABSOLUTELY!!!
The restaurant is indeed a little bit small with only 10 - 12 seats. But even in takeout the food is very good & HOT!
The waiting time is very reasonable.
The restaurant is kinda hard to see from the street but take the time to try it as you will not be deceived!
10/10 Absolutely perfect! The people were friendly & service was impeccable. The food was as fresh as can be, tasty, hot, came fast.. I have nothing bad to say. It's the type of food that makes my heart happy!! Very small restaurant, but with beautiful people working there & serving perfect dumplings & sides. It might be my new favourite spot. & there are tons of client going for takeout orders.. which shows how great their food is. Thank you for everything; I will come back for sure!!!
Highly recommend! Everything we ordered was delicious: Beef & onion xiaolongbao, pork & chive fried dumplings, dumplings in peanut sauce. Delighted to have found this authentic, fresh dumpling restaurant in the North Shore (no need to go downtown anymore!). Small interior, but great service! Popular for takeout as well.
