My partner ordered takeout from here, & I was super excited because I was craving some Chinese food -- I live pretty far from most authentic Chinese food places in the Greater Montreal Area, & this was the closest place I could find since moving to the area. We ordered 2 fried dumplings & 1 xiaolongbao. My partner said the people serving him were super nice & friendly, & they gave him a small bowl of soup for free, which I identified for him as mung bean soup. The fried dumplings were juicy, & the xiaolongbao wasn't as soupy as I'm used to, but still very good & I enjoyed them. The whole meal really cured some of my homesickness I had from not eating any type of authentic Chinese food for awhile, especially the mung bean soup which I haven't had in a long time. It all made me very happy!
EDIT (August 2026): A year after update! Me & my partner have ordered here a few times since the initial 2025 review. To clarify, the mung bean soup was just a freebie for that random day we went from our first visit & I have never seen it in subsequent orders. We did randomly get a Starbucks coffee packet during Holiday 2025/26 season with our order once though! Other than that our other orders didn't have freebies. Just clarifying in case! I've currently have an addiction to their lamb xiaolongbao & that's my go-to order. I've also tried their hot sour soup once but it wasn't to my taste personally.
We have also ordered both in French & English here before on different visits, so both languages are fine.
What a great discovery! Tiny place well worth the visit. Only 2 tables, bustling with take out orders.
Delicious choices of dumplings fried or steamed, so tasty!! . Service with a smile😊
Can't go wrong
Imperial rolls were typical, tempura shrimp were tasty, peanut butter dumplings could have had better sauce, beef & onion pan fried dumplings were passable, but the lamb & coriander ones had no flavour, the chocolate Xiaolongbao didn't quite work, as much as I enjoy chocolate.
I appreciate that they followed instructions though.
Very small restaurant, 3 tables & a barlike area, which is unfortunate because the food there is amazing! The dumplings are made there & are beautiful. We came at a random time during the day so got to eat there. Service was excellent. We ordered peanut butter dumplings, won ton soup, shrimp & coriander fried dumplings, beef & onion fried dumplings & juicy pork & coriander steamed dumplings, all excellent. I will definitely be going back, maybe more for pick up
We ordered dumplings ( shrimp, fried leek, pork & cabbage, pork shrimp & scallop), soups & imperial rolls. Everything was very good. Shrimp & the fried pork & cabbage were our favorites. It isnt really a place to dine in, they have maybe 3 tables (which is why i put 3 stars for atmosphere), but awesome for take-out. Very polite & kind staff. We will be back :)
Tout était super bon merci! Ce n'est pas vraiment un endroit où s'asseoir pour souper vu que c'est un tout petit resto & qu'il y a seulement 2-3 tables avec bcp d'entré/sortie ce n'est pas grave.
Delicious food, will definitely come back for more!♡
The fried dumplings were perfect exactly how I'd crave them!
The waitress was also very sweet to me & my friend she did her outmost best to make us feel welcomed.😊
Finally! A dumpling spot! Started with the hot & sour soup. Was great & a unique recipe without going too crazy. I had the Porc/chive & porc/shrimp/scallop steamed & the beef & onion fried dumplings. Everything was great. More of a take out spot than a sit down, but we sat & had a comfortable experience still. Will be back. Oh yeah....staff was also REALLY nice!
Highly recommend! Everything we ordered was delicious: Beef & onion xiaolongbao, pork & chive fried dumplings, dumplings in peanut sauce. Delighted to have found this authentic, fresh dumpling restaurant in the North Shore (no need to go downtown anymore!). Small interior, but great service! Popular for takeout as well.
