the $20+ drink I ordered lacked any flavor beyond tasting like a flat cider with a bit of vermouth in it, but was extremely disappointed after the bartender asked us to leave due to there being a lineup to get in, even though we paid cover to come enjoy the atmosphere & listen to the live jazz performance. I'm sorry your bar has a small capacity, but we literally paid to be here.Voir plus

My boyfriend & I visited this place
last night for the Wednesday jazz night. We loved everything about it. The drinks were amazing, the decor, the musicians, the vibe. We truly enjoyed ourselves.
But, when we finished paying, we didn't tip on the machine because we wanted to leave some cash instead. I didn't even have the time to reach for the cash in my bag that the waitress confronted us very rudely about how we didn't tip. Me & my boyfriend both work in restaurants & we know better than not to tip our waiters. When I explained to the waitress the situation, she didn't apologize for her mistake whatsoever & just left.
It left us feeling confused & ruined our vibe & the great night we were having.

First time in Montreal, was in town for a work trip, & this spot was recommended to me. Great, great cocktail bar. Delicious drinks & even better company.
