I had the vegetarian platter & it was very tasty, nicely presented & the portions were good. The hummus & warm Egyptian style pita was delicious. My wife had the grilled lamb & big smiles all around.

Baba Hamdi cuisine égyptienne delivers an unforgettable dining experience from start to finish. From the outside, you'd never guess how stunning the interior is! Once inside, you're welcomed by warm, traditional décor that feels both authentic & inviting. The open-style layout is a great touch, allowing you to watch the owner preparing dishes in the kitchen, which adds to the charm & authenticity of the experience.

The food was fantastic across the board, but the homemade hummus truly stole the show. It was so good that I ended up buying two containers to take home. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared with care & attention to detail. The owner is incredibly kind & welcoming, clearly passionate about his food & his restaurant, & the wait staff were equally friendly & attentive.

While it's a bit pricier, the portion sizes & quality more than justify the cost. This is an easy return spot, & honestly, I'd come back just for the hummus alone. An outstanding experience all around.

We went to this restaurant a while back because we wanted to try authentic Egyptian food. We were very impressed with everything. The salad, bread & hummus he brings out before the main dish is fresh & delicious. The main course we had involved chicken & rice & it was very good as well. It was well worth the wait since that's the only drawback we could find. Which is that the service is a bit slow but acceptable for the quality you're getting. You can tell the owner cares about the quality of the food he serves.

If you want to visit Egypt & not fly halfway accross the globe this is the spot to be. Amazing comfort food with a smooth authentic ambiance. Service is exemplary & by god the hummus is to die for. Thank you baba hamdi

Excellent service & très bon repas... Les portions sont appropriés, les prix sont raisonnables & les saveurs sont tout simplement délicieuses. Ça donne le goût de visiter l'Égypte. Pas évident de s'y rendre, mais une fois à l'intérieur, vous serez comblé ! impossible de passer à côté de l'agneau & du hummus... vous allez en rêver pendant 3 jours... Bon appétit !

j'ai pris un plat molokheya & hawawshi. Les plats étaient excellent rien à dire. L'ambiance très calmes & apaisant. Le hummus était très savoureux aussi. On reviendra

Resto intime. Hummus délicieux, pain chaud & frais. Bonnes portions. J'ai essayé la Moussaka qui était goûteuse. Les keftas kebab sont excellents. Je recommande. C'est un apportez votre vin.
