Kind of a hidden gem not many people know about, but it's a great brewery. Great beer, decent pub/bar food the pizza is always pretty good. Friendly staff & the best part: dog friendly!
Great outdoor space & very good food & drinks. They have the classic Belle Gueule beers but also some more seasonal & experimental beers on tap rotation.
Good music & staff. Cool space for groups too.
*EDIT: for the 2026 season they are not allowing bikes on the patio which honestly makes no sense given where they are located. We rode up to take an after-ride beer & were told we had to leave the bikes outside the fence, could not even walk them in & stash against the far back wall. Kind of a deal breaker in my opinion.
It is a very nice place & a cool place to go in the summer for a chill beer in the outdoor terrace. I went in the winter & it was slightly crowded but in the summer, it is much more open & enjoy that more.
Visited on June 13, 2021, in the afternoon, my first brewery/brewpub rating since September of last year. Located between Christophe-Colomb Ave & the RJ (GMT) Brewery, the building used to house Grolsch Canada Inc, which is distributed by GMT. Although the building has been part of the brewery for years, it's only last year brewpub project came too light, under Jan-Philippe Barbeau, best known for MacKroken Flower & the Loup Rouge Brewery. It opened to the public for the first time last Friday, so it's very young, however it's been brewing for months now selling cans in limited retail stores. It opened to the public for the first time last Friday, so it's very young, however it's been brewing for months now selling cans in limited retail stores. The north end of the brewpub is were the large patio is located & so far the only place open. There is no food for now because the kitchen is not ready. There is 8 beers on tap, 5 are from the main brewery & 3 from the brewpub, they also have hard cider in cans & a few none alcohol beers. In the front the indoor pub, but is not open, but it looks fairly big. Bathrooms are on the De La Roche Street side of the building, all very accessible & the staff is quit friendly. A new place for Barbeau to practice his art!
Great terrace, great staff , very good beer ... definitely a place to gather with friends or go on a date ... ohh food is surprisingly good :)) ... totally a must
