La salle de bain: pas de papier pour s'essuyer les mains & le séchoir ne fonctionne pas, pas vraiement propre...Ne pas prendre une table près des fenêtres il fait très froid, il y a énormément de l'air froide, une partie de la fenêtre est geler par le froid. Reçu la brochette, cuisson douteuse avec un petit goblet de sauce rempli à la moitier & ressemble a une sauce déjà utilisé, il y avait une couche sur le dessus que je ne peut pas dire c'est quoi & demande une autre sauce & on me la charge.... Le riz n'a pas de goût & la salade presque pas de vinaigrette. Un plat vraiement ordinaire. Une personne a reçu la crème caramel avait une drôle de texture, vraiement manger cela & être malade prend pas de chance on l'a retourné. La serveuse semble habitué de se faire retourné un plat...Pour moi le repas, la propretée m'inspire pas confiance. Je ne retourne plus à ce restaurant.J'ai été a celui de ville Lasalle & je n'y retourne plus, il vous charge une table d'hôte sans vous le demander....

Pretty nice place. I enjoyed dinner with my co-workers. The place is clean, beautiful & organized. The food is really good, there are many options & the taste was great. The services was very kind & faster. The washroom very clean.

Horrible Service, went there at 6pm, Busboy came to pour water around 6.30 pm. Had to wait another 20 mins for the bread service, Finally waitress came to take order around 7.30 pm. We had to wait 2 hours to get served.

L'endroit est propre. Belle ambiance, on est bien assis! Les repas du Midi ne sont pas cher & la quantité de nourriture est gigantesque! Le riz est toujours bon les patates aussi. Les crevettes 🍤 sont juste Miam 😋 Bravo à toute l'équipe cheers 🥂

I went to eat yesterday Sunday July 21 2024, with my family of 6. I can't tell you how amazing the service & food was . Our waiter was quick & courteous & made sure we were taken care of. The food was delicious from our appetizers to our main dinner which was cooked to perfection. The children thoroughly loved their children's meal, they left nothing on their plates . We have visited this restaurant many times & we have recommended it to our friends & family. The staff is so accommodating & the manager of the restaurant is always so nice with a smile . Thank you ! We will be returning very soon.

Perfect, perfect, perfect what a wonderful evening we had!To be exact we had a party of 10 on Saturday night. Our wonderful waiter Bobby tended to our needs from when we stepped foot inside until the second we stepped out. The pikilia entre & calamari to start was delicious! I ordered the chicken brochette it was to die for. One of the most juiciest brochette I've tasted in a long time. The prices are affordable & service was on point we will definitely be returning & booking more parties as the ambiance & service was just perfect! Would highly recommended coming to eat here.

I had the worst experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely horrible. Let me tell you my experience, I came into the restaurent with a group of 8 eight on Sunday night. We placed our order to a very nice staff member who was very attentive to the table's needs. The appetizers arrived, w had the calamari & it was done very well. But when the main meal arrived, that's when it all turned south. My self & one of my dinning companions order their Spanakopita plate, another two ordered dishes with shrimp & the fifth ordered a Chicken Cesar salad. Well the first problem is that on the menu, it says " that all meal come with home fries, salad & Rice." The two of us realized that we didn't receive either the salad of potatoes. We asked the Server that I think that they forgot, only to be told that our meals didn't come with them. I asked why & she said it was indicated & I asked where & was told by the Asterix. I told her out right that it was not clear, no where on this menu did it way meal with out asterix are exclude as a main dish. If it has said " Meal with askerix come with potatoes,, etc" it would have been clear & we would have understood that ours did not, but it didn't & we felt cheated. Second problem was the meal it self, as I am accustom to & have had be served many time, Spanakopita is served hot, with a light salty taste of feta & & the Filo should be light & crispy, this was not the case, the Spanakopita was stone cold, extremely salty & the pastry was oily. This was served with a brochette of grilled vegetables were brunt & all you can taste was a terrible burnt taste. The rice was mushy & also very salty. I couldn't even get through two bites I was so disgusted. The Third problem, was the two that ordered shrimp came in a batter that was undercooked & pretty much looked like raw dough. The Fourth problem was the Caesar salad, the girl who ordered said that it has so much salsa dressing on it, that it was like eating Caesar salad soup. We tried to flag down our waitress but she was so over whelmed, because there seemed to be only two servers on the floor, that we gave up trying. When she finally did come around, we told of the problem & said she'd talk with the manager, she did apologize on their behalf. . But She came back a few minutes later took away the plates & then gave us the bill. No mention of anything from the manager/owner, no table visit from them either. I mean if a client is unhappy & word is sent back to them you'd think they would have at least come to the table & apologized, I would have accept that. But got nothing at all. So we got the bill, paid just under a 100$ & left, we received no deduction ( I wasn't expecting anything, but you know the meal was even a quarter eaten, but that's beside the point.) or apologies from anyone with authority except once from the waitress, who was only doing her job. When asked by my dinning partners & I told them nothing had been done, they were shocked. I will never go back to Au Vieux Duluth as long as I live & breathe. It was absolute garbage. But my theory is the Management/Owner sees us nothing more than rubes to cheat us out of our money. My recommendation is that you go anywhere but to this restaurant, there is a Chenoy's & a Scores down the road or A McDonald across the parking lot that could prepare a better meal than this place.

Kind of basic for what it is. The menu was written down on our place mats & the decor looked straight out of a hotel. For that kind of atmosphere, I wouldn't expect the prices to be so high. The food was just ok.

I believe this was my first visit to Au Vieux Duluth, even though I lived here for some time. We went for a special occasion & it went very smoothly. I specifically loved the waiter, who was quite funny in his no nonsense approach. The food was ok, I would say that for the price though, it is excellent. You cannot really find much at this price point, notably as the serving sizes are fairly big, so bring a container to take the leftovers to go (& bring your own wine as well). The parking lot is kind of a mess though, the layout & the maintenance level. It also did not get too loud so we were able to talk easily amongst ourselves.

Food is good, depending on what you get. One big suggestion is more staff is needed especially during rush hours. Dishwasher stained drinking glasses are not good.
