Review Summary

Au pays du sucre offers a dessert focused experience anchored by crispy caramelized crepes and a cozy, chic atmosphere. Reviews highlight a wide variety of irresistible options, from pistachio and mango crepes that are lightly sweet with balanced flavors to Japanese style crepes and banana creme brulee that thrill with texture and presentation. The crepes are repeatedly described as golden, crunchy on the outside with a soft, flavorful interior, and the presentation is praised as magical. Fresh fruit fillings are celebrated, and the range includes creamy sundaes and rich creme brulee varieties that invite lingering tastes. Service is frequently noted as friendly, attentive, and professional, contributing to a welcoming vibe whether for a date or a casual visit, though some opinions mention price points and occasional waits or that portions could be improved. Overall it is seen as a charming, dependable spot for dessert lovers with many standout items, a strong sense of quality ingredients, and a reputation for being a hidden gem worth returning to.

Le goût est bon, mais les portions sont minuscules pour le prix. Le sundae était littéralement deux fois plus petit que sur la photo.

Very good sundae. Not the usual soft serve ice cream but regular scoops instead

This place is really nice! you'll find Japanese-style crêpes filled with cheesecake, fresh fruit, & whipped cream - plus their crispy crêpe croustillante, which adds the perfect crunch. ((the chocolate one is pure heaven!)

They also serve rich soft-serve, over-the-top sundaes, & a refreshing Yuzu lemonade. 🍋

Just a short drive from Montreal, & 100% worth the detour!
