One of the best pastry shops around the Plateau Mont Royal. You won't be disappointed trying Kouign Amman. But maybe sometimes they will run out. Apart from Kouign Amman, they have one of the best pain au chocolat in town. Don't miss out the soups if you want to try something hot.View more

This is a place I used to go to regularly 14 years ago when I lived in Montreal. The lamination cannot be compared to those days. Kougin Amann itself is not laminated how it was & is more towards the Bretagne way now which is fine, as that is the classic. It's just lost its oumph & unique factor unfortunately. Same with the croissants, especially the cheese, lack of lamination & the cheese being laminated into the centre. The production line has changed & don't get me wrong it's still delicious, it's just not the same.View more
