We went there to try the icecream & the cake & it was very good ! The chocolate coconut cake was very delicious along with the icecream there as well !! Will come back again if we pass by in the area 🫶
Love this place for breakfast! I always have the eggs Benedict. If you're looking for fancy & pretentious, look elsewhere. This is relatively simple but well presented, tasty food. I love the fact that their potatoes aren't salted like a Montreal road in winter. In other breakfast restaurants you can feel your blood pressure increase as you eat your potatoes. If you show up early on weekends it's not too difficult to find a seat. It's getting more popular & more crowded though. Happy for the business owners, they deserve it but it's less quiet than it used to be.
My favorite restaurant in Montreal :) The food is delicious. I love the sandwiches & crepes. Definitely recommend the french toast & eggs benedict as well. The staff & owners are always welcoming.
The small café resto in the heart of Ste Anne is a delightful gem with an incredible food selection. From crepes to a variety of ice cream options, including soft & hard ice cream, & gelato-there's something for everyone. Operated by a friendly Peruvian family, the place exudes warmth. It's consistently busy throughout the year, a testament to its popularity. A must-try for those seeking a diverse & delicious treat in the heart of town
Frequent diner here & it's always been great! The potatoes are some of the best I've ever had & they're the only place that makes crepes right. Thin & flavourful, no thick, cardboard, heavy crepes like every other breakfast joint. Lots of vegan/veggy/dairy intolerant options as well. The place is small & the staff is low, so service can be really slow/inattentive on really busy days, but they are very nice & work hard considering. The place has a beautiful atmosphere during lunch hour with the old wood, sun coming through & the water view in front. The smoothies & drinks are always delicious as well & the prices are very fair/low considering the quality delivered. You guys are amazing, thank you for being the best at breakfast! 🥞🍳
The service was good however, neither of us liked the potatoes that came with the eggs or the organic meat. The potatoes were greasy & mushy & flavourless & the meat was like a bad hot dog. & if you know the restaurant, please maybe consider fresh potatoes & not frozen.
Il s’agissait d’un arrêt sur notre route du retour. C’est un bel emplacement, au cœur du village. Le menu est plutôt varié & tous nos plats étaient succulents. Par contre, le service était très lent & désordonné, & nous avons patienté près de 1 h 30 entre l’arrivée & le service des plats. Des membres de notre groupe ont reçu leurs assistés à un moment, puis d’autres ont reçu les leurs 5-10 minutes plus tard, puis ma conjointe a finalement reçu la sienne quand tout le monde avait déjà presque fini de manger. À aucun moment on ne nous a servi de l’eau ou on nous a prévenus qu’il y aurait des délais; on n’est jamais venu nous revoir pour nous demander si tout était en ordre & à notre gout. Ça arrive, des journées comme ça, & les commentaires généralement positifs sur cet endroit me laissent croire qu’il s’agit de l’exception plutôt que de la règle!
