Welcome to the refinement of Tea Time Deluxe, an exceptional gastronomic experience designed to awaken your senses. Our exclusive formula invites you to savor four exquisite pastries, each representing a masterpiece of flavors and textures, created with artisanal precision. Whether you succumb to the delicacy of a fruit tartlet or the intensity of a chocolate éclair, every bite promises an immersion in the exquisite world of high-end patisserie.
Across reviews, Atelier Marjorie is praised for the quality and taste of its pastries and cakes, with many custom orders appreciated for accuracy and elegance. The cake decorating experiences and bento cake workshops are described as fun, creative, and well hosted, with a welcoming atmosphere and a charming interior. Visitors also enjoy the tea time and standalone desserts, noting a wide variety of toppings and decorations, and several items like the Paris Brest and dulce de leche cake are highlighted as standout. However, the space is frequently described as small and sometimes feels cramped, which can make lines and activities feel rushed, especially during peak hours. Some critiques point to limited color options for decoration, occasional gaps in service, and the price level relative to the experience. Occasionally concerns about cleanliness and hygiene of decorations or the organization of the start times appear, but overall the staff are described as warm and helpful. Overall, Atelier Marjorie comes across as a creative, charming spot for desserts and hands on decorating experiences, with repeat visits and events recommended.
We made a reservation for Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 5:15 for the cake decorating workshop. When making the reservation, we were told that if WE cancelled there would be a cancellation charge.
We were pretty excited to go to the activity that we booked THREE WEEKS AGO. They had all this time to cancel the reservation before the day of, & they chose to cancel it just a few hours before the reservation time via email on the same day.
That's unacceptable, & incredibly unprofessional to do considering when people book activities they plan their day around it, & it can be adjusted if at least they let us know a day in advance.
Felt like a scam. The place is small & stuffy. Nice deco but you can't really take any pics without disturbing other customers. The hot drinks came cold. The material provided is cheap & limited. The staff apologised for not having enough material & space to several customers at least 10 times while we were there. The cake is not good at all. The buttercream is all you can taste. Not worth it honestly!

I ordered a custom two tiered Dulce de Leche cake from Marjorie, & it was DELICIOUS - melted in the mouth! I was very specific that I didn't want fondant, & Marjorie did a great job of keeping the cake light with the icing & not too sweet, which everyone loved. I am posting this almost a year late, but we still talk about the cake!
The bakery/shop is SUPER SMALL - almost feels like you are sitting in the lap of the person next to you. The bento cake decorating was really not worth the $30 we spent in there. The icing options & decorations were limited (& frankly very tacky) & they don't provide any icing tips with the piping bags.
I wish I had read other reviews before I booked a spot.

Got a delicious birthday cake for my dad. My family loved it! Service was very fast. I ordered online on the previous day & it was ready for pickup the next day. The owner contacted me to confirm the details of the custom cake & took great care.
We came for the cake making atelier. To our surprise, the atelier was basically a tiny 200sqft coffee shop with all guests sitting at one table together. One of the guests (unrelaited to us) came 20 min late. So we ALL had to wait when all of us had rushed during rush hour, having to finish work earlier, because the atelier only offers the most inconvenient hours from 5 to 7 on some weekdays.
Now not only we had to wait 20 minutes to start, no beverage was offered until half way into the atelier, our entire activity was still stopped at 6:45 & no extension was given to enjoy the activity.
The host (also owner) rushed through the entire process, didn't give us a minute to enjoy what is supposed to be a fun relaxing creative activity.
So here you are paying almost 70$, rushing to get to this activity, cutting your own time that you pay for to wait for unrelated guests, & are stressed out making your cake & trying to listen & watch the instructions at the same time. NOT WORTH IT. This was not enjoyable & a waste of money.
If you know me, you know I don't play when it comes to birthday treats-& this year, I celebrated with an elegant tea time at Atelier Marjorie. Safe to say, it was a sweet success.
Let's talk highlights:
• Mocha Latte - Smooth, creamy, & just the right balance of chocolate & espresso. Like a warm hug in a cup.
• Pastries - The chocolate éclair was rich & glossy with a filling that whispered luxury. The mini lemon meringue pie? Bright, tangy, & cloud-like with its toasted meringue top.
• Macarons - I wrapped it all up with a salted caramel & a passion fruit macaron. Soft, chewy, & bursting with flavor-like little edible presents.
The vibe? Cozy & charming with friendly service that made me feel like I was celebrating at a close friend's café.
Bonus: they also host mini cake decorating classes-& you know I'm coming back to try that next time.
If you're craving a little indulgence, Atelier Marjorie is the perfect spot to slow down & treat yourself.
I spotlight my favorite local gems on TikTok @foxy.appetite & IG @foxyappetite-come eat with me!
I ordered a birthday cake for my friend, & it was just gorgeous. They have been patient & very helpful with my order. They also respected all my specifications, as my friend was a bit picky. But she loved the cake, & it was even nicer than the one in the picture I sent them! I recommend at 100%!
It was also ready on time! If you have questions, sent them a message on instagram, they are very reactive! ✨✨
When you actually get to eating the cake it is DELICIOUS (framboise) downsides : you don't get many colours to decorate; in my case we only had orange, purple, white, yellow & blue. You only have an hour to decorate it, & we got advised of this 10 minutes before our hour was over, & rushed our end product.

My time at Atelier Marjorie was the highlight of my trip to Montreal! The service was great! Both the owner, Khadijah, & the gentleman who helped set up my incredible cake decorating experience, Sacha, were so kind & welcoming. The girly pink interior, beautiful floral decorations & comfortable seating created a cozy & relaxing atmosphere. I had so much fun decorating my delicious raspberry cake with the large variety of icings & sprinkles I was provided. I truly enjoyed the time to be creative & the cake was both beautiful & delicious. I also had up a couple desserts while I was there & everything was so flavorful, unique, & exquisitely crafted! Definitely come here for a fun girls day, a birthday, or with your kids who are also princesses at heart! Your sweet tooth & inner child will be satisfied! 🩷
Decorate your one Bento cake experience:
Cute concept but disappointing…
We liked: The place is pretty. Staff was friendly. Good tasting cake.
We disliked: Very small space & tables are close to one another. Only had a few colours of icing & one bowl of mixed sprinkles to choose from. Vanilla latte was made with store bought Tim Hortons latte powder… Overpriced.
We liked the idea but would not recommend.
I couldn't have asked for a more stunning cake for my birthday dinner! The design was absolutely breathtaking, & it tasted just as amazing as it looked. The attention to detail, the flavors, & the overall experience was great. Her café is so cute, & the service was wonderful. I really appreciate the opportunity to support a local business in Montreal. Thank you for making my celebration extra special!
It's my first time ordering from Atelier Marjorie & it definitely won't be the last lol the cake was BOMB, thank you to Khadija for her kindness & professionalism❤?
It was a small little cake shop that also sell a variety of drinks & snacks. The server was nice & helped us get started with the cake. We just came from Korea & we always used to order 도시락 케이크 or lunchbox cakes for anniversary or any special occasion. Would highly recommend this place to anyone! The cake was also delicious
