Arte & Farina is a true gem for anyone craving authentic Italian bakery & café fare.
The menu is a dream for pastry lovers, featuring standout items like bomboloni (Italian doughnuts filled with custard or Nutella), Roman-style pizzas, & focaccia sandwiches-especially the porchetta, served on fresh focaccia with a zesty pickled spread.
The service is friendly, quick, & informative, making you feel right at home. The café's ambiance is perfect for a relaxed brunch, a coffee break, or picking up some artisanal Italian products for your pantry.
Overall, Arte & Farina is a must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of Italy in Montreal. Whether you're in the mood for a sweet treat, a savory sandwich, or simply a cozy spot to enjoy a coffee, this place delivers with passion & authenticity.View more
A good Italian bakery in village. Only two Choices for pizza. Slow & unfriendly serviceView more
Porchetta sandwich is delicious. It's served on a delicious focaccia bread & a pickled spread $15. Juicy, tender, sumptuous but a tad messy to eat. Get extra napkins! Only available on Sunday (or weekends - I forgot what he said). The pizzas looked good as well - next time.
Service is informative & friendly. Lots of other curated Italian products for the pantry.View more
The service & the atmospehre here is excellent. Most of their items are of great quality, like the pizza & the coffee. My dissapointment is with the panettone. I purchased a panettone & it lacked flavour. It's dissapointing since a small panettone is upwards of 40 dollars or so.View more
The coffee & focaccia pizza are 👌👌 & the space is gorgeousView more
View more

Très déçu de l'offre alimentaire. Le site Web annonçait davantage de variétés. Les morceaux de pizza sont petits; la croute est très bonne, mais la sauce au tomate... plutôt fade.View more
Their hot chocolate was incredible! Pizza was delicious & I'm hoping to go back to try some of the baked goods another time !View more

Beautiful cafe specializing in Italian imported specialties. The owner & chef is passionate about the quality of products & what he provides to customers. He carefully selects items to bring from his home country, striving to provide an authentic experience with his Italian treats. This is the place with the best panettone, pizzas, pasta, & bomboloni. I've seen the place transform from more humble beginnings in a different location to this new establishment. The coffee is great, & it's a nice place to come for an aperitivo with friends & enjoy some Italian treats.View more
The pizza is baked on a high-sided rectangular pan, with the cheese cubes piled on the edge melting into a golden crispy crust, & the four corners are especially delicious. After tasting it, you may find that the pizza crust tastes a like focaccia.View more
A very nice cafe/bistro on Ste Catherine street east of downtown. High ceilings & large spaces. They serve delicious coffee & pastries. You'll also find traditional Italian pizza (forno style, cut in squares). The service was good, tables spacious & clean. There are products available for purchase like pasta, sauces etc.View more
Très belle boulangerie avec plusieurs bons produits, sandwichs, viennoiseries, carrés de pizza, cafés & plus. L'endroit est agréable & convivial.View more
Expérience italienne moderne. Leurs pizzas sont bonnes. L'ambiance est conviviale, idéale pour se détendre entre amis ou en famille. Pas de wifi proposé, j'imagine pour fluidifier le traffic & éviter de trainer trop longtemps.View more
Meh. The quality went down from when this place used to be literally a hole in the wall. Went in with my parents who were visiting from Italy & the pizza slices were just bland. They used to be absolute heaven. Also sad to see there is no pasta served on weekends(why) so the lunch options are extremely limited. The bombolone way ok, but they used to be the best I had ever tasted on this side of the pond. The coffee is great.
The prices are just insane for the quality you get. I don’t think I will be back here.View more
Very wonderful experience. The staff is friendly, & they take their job seriously. We had a latte, pizza, & a pastry & it was absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere was lovely! If I lived in Montréal I would definitely be a regular at this location.View more
