Arte & Farina is a true gem for anyone craving authentic Italian bakery & café fare.
The menu is a dream for pastry lovers, featuring standout items like bomboloni (Italian doughnuts filled with custard or Nutella), Roman-style pizzas, & focaccia sandwiches-especially the porchetta, served on fresh focaccia with a zesty pickled spread.
The service is friendly, quick, & informative, making you feel right at home. The café's ambiance is perfect for a relaxed brunch, a coffee break, or picking up some artisanal Italian products for your pantry.
Overall, Arte & Farina is a must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of Italy in Montreal. Whether you're in the mood for a sweet treat, a savory sandwich, or simply a cozy spot to enjoy a coffee, this place delivers with passion & authenticity.View more
The service & the atmospehre here is excellent. Most of their items are of great quality, like the pizza & the coffee. My dissapointment is with the panettone. I purchased a panettone & it lacked flavour. It's dissapointing since a small panettone is upwards of 40 dollars or so.View more

Arte & Farina is an excellent place for Sunday brunch. The food & coffee are across the board 👌 amazing! A lovely more sophisticated restaurant to relax & enjoy. Highly recommend a coffee & one of the house made baked goodies.View more

We enjoyed our afternoon coffee here, ordering two single espressos, & I must say the taste & quality were exceptional. The barista was friendly & respectful, making the experience even better. The café offers a great view of the street, & despite the many large windows, the air conditioning kept the space cool & comfortable.View more
The food, oh the food! Fresh, crisp, & a dream for the palette, the breads had a delicious cruch, the desserts were still warm from the over, & the pear nectar had the perfect level of sweetness to make a summer morning refreshing. We took our iced coffees to go to carry A&F's delight with us. The vibe is a soft blend of chill, accepting, & modern. But, despite all that greatness, it was the welcoming smile & hearty laughs from Florian that made us feel at home.View more
Beautiful cafe specializing in Italian imported specialties. The owner & chef is passionate about the quality of products & what he provides to customers. He carefully selects items to bring from his home country, striving to provide an authentic experience with his Italian treats. This is the place with the best panettone, pizzas, pasta, & bomboloni. I've seen the place transform from more humble beginnings in a different location to this new establishment. The coffee is great, & it's a nice place to come for an aperitivo with friends & enjoy some Italian treats.View more
A very nice cafe/bistro on Ste Catherine street east of downtown. High ceilings & large spaces. They serve delicious coffee & pastries. You'll also find traditional Italian pizza (forno style, cut in squares). The service was good, tables spacious & clean. There are products available for purchase like pasta, sauces etc.View more
Meh. The quality went down from when this place used to be literally a hole in the wall. Went in with my parents who were visiting from Italy & the pizza slices were just bland. They used to be absolute heaven. Also sad to see there is no pasta served on weekends(why) so the lunch options are extremely limited. The bombolone way ok, but they used to be the best I had ever tasted on this side of the pond. The coffee is great.
The prices are just insane for the quality you get. I don’t think I will be back here.View more
Arte & Farina Cafe is a delightful haven for those who appreciate the finer things in life. From the moment you step inside, you are enveloped in a warm, cozy atmosphere that combines rustic charm with a touch of sophistication.
The coffee & pastries served here are nothing short of exceptional. Each sip & bite is a testament to the artistry & dedication of the baristas & bakers. Whether you’re in the mood for a velvety latte or a flaky, freshly baked croissant, Arte & Farina delivers quality that is second to none.
What truly sets this cafe apart, however, is its commitment to art & culture. The walls adorned with local artwork & the occasional live performance create an ambiance that stimulates the mind as well as the senses.
The staff here is not just friendly; they are passionate about what they do, making your visit feel like a warm embrace. Whether you’re seeking a quiet corner for contemplation or a place to gather with friends, Arte & Farina Cafe offers an experience that is both soul-soothing & inspiring.
For anyone in search of a cafe that goes beyond serving coffee & treats, but also nourishes the spirit, Arte & Farina is a must-visit. It’s a place where creativity, flavor, & community come together in perfect harmony.View more
