Dining at Areperas was a amazing ! The food was a true taste of tradition, served up fast without sacrificing any flavor. Absolutely amazing - I'll definitely be coming back for more.
Je me suis fait servir par un jeune homme distingué & sympathique qui a tout a fait compris comment servir les clients de façon humble & attentive. Enzo si je me rappelle bien :) Le repas était excellent & le jus au fruit de la passion était savoureux. Nous avons eu une expérience formidable:)
Had dinner here with my husband on a weeknight. Very delicious food but on the heavy side. Everything is gluten free (hallelujah!) Simple yet complete menu. Decor is fun & eclectic. Only felt that lighting was a bit too dim.
With prices soaring these days I paid about $9.8 to take out three empanadas. I think it's more than fair as it's not Kensington Market in Toronto where there's a lot more traffic & competition. The empanadas are fresh & in hindsight I should have gotten all cheese. Super yummy!
Great arepas, friendly service. A bit noisy & cafeteria-esque interior, but pleasant. The sauces take it up a notch. & at least for the the meal came very quickly & service was prompt & attentive. Would definitely go again.

Nice open view to the streets because the weather was perfect.
Food was almost good except that we ordered food right before the dinner shift & so within a few minutes of getting served my food was already to room temperature.
Their sweet plantains were perfect & their sauces were good.
Felt authentic Venezuelan.
Would recommend.

I wanna go again. So good. Pleasant time. Tasty yummy food. The waiter was so polite & made us feel welcome. Easy to order & keep track of the bill. Large portions. The guacamole sauce was so good. Overall a great experience. Looking forward to go back.
Muy rico todo recomiendo el platillo de carne de res y la arepa de cerdo con queso derretido. La salsas son muy ricas la verde no pica y la roja pica rico. Excelente música latina vuelvo a regresar por otro platillo diferente y otra arepa ���

I'm going to be harsh but I think for good reasons. I got the pulled beef empenada & the beef wasn't properly pulled; big chunks of beef that needed to be bit down to make smaller chuncks, not a good moment.
The place is fairly well decorated & the vibes are good which let's you imagine you will get food is on that same level. I was disappointed when I saw our plates come. I thought it was more fast-food type of food. Fairly pricy too considering all the factors mentioned.
Our favourite gluten-free restaurant in Montreal! We love their menu, our kids love their arepa, & we love the atmosphere. The service is second to none, the prices are VERY reasonable, & there are a TON of great options. I love that I have a variety of GF beers to choose from (how many restaurants regularly have more than one gluten free beer available) & we learned on our latest visit that we could order a litre (like, a nice carafe) of delicious soursop juice! SO GOOD. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. 🤤
As always it was delicious! Courteous service! Employees there are always in a good mood smiling & laughing…it definitely has good vibes! In the summer you can take it to go & eat outside there’s a nice city installation with picnic tables, bike racks etc. If you have a gluten intolerance or allergy the Arepas are Gluten Free & they also have vegetarian options. My favorite go to is the Yuca entrée, the La LLanera arepa & passion fruit juice. Can’t get enough of that avocado sauce! Put it everywhere it’s addictive & delicious! Enjoy!
