The staff was amazing & the food fantastic! Portions were generous. The corn bread for the Arepas & the enpanadas was sooooo good, it's uncanny! They even serve really good gluten-free beer.

Listen-I've been burned before by Latino pork & beef that turned out stringy & dry. But here? Their Pabellón & Suerna were so juicy & packed with flavor. The toppings were fresh & top-notch, & they even give you both a tangy avocado sauce & a spicy sauce-absolute perfection.
The arepas themselves? Perfectly cooked: crispy on the outside, soft inside, & the ideal vessel for a generous, delicious filling. Definitely coming back next time I'm in the area.
This is a great spot to grab a quick lunch if you can!
The price for an arepa is quite reasonable for the quality. I got the pork & avocado salsa arepa. It was loaded with the meat & avocado, almost spilling out bc of how much there was & it was absolutely delicious.
The staff are friendly & approachable but they will do the bare minimum so if you like to be left alone once the food is dropped off then this is the place. Thankfully they do give you a bottle of water so you're able to refill yourself.
Had a fantastic meal at Arepera! Can't go wrong with the Pabellon Arepas, sauces that came with the meal elevated everything & service was efficient. Will definitely be coming back anytime I'm in Montreal.
Commandé par ma blonde. Mon premier review, mais j'en ai mangé plusieurs fois. & à chaque fois, c'est un pur plaisir gustatif. Original, savoureux, sans fla-fla. C'est juste bon. Cette fois, on a pris des arepas boeuf effiloché & tomates (carne mechada). Délicieux.
Casual place for brunch. Our server was very friendly. Tried the mixed veggie empanadas as well as the chicken with avocado arepa. The arepa was very tasty & filling. Can with a small side salad. The empanada fillings were flavorful.

Great place if you want to try arepas in Montreal. The owner, Adriana was really welcoming. Staff was helpful in giving recommendations. There was also live music (not sure if it happens often, but the atmosphere was very nice!)
What can I say, the place itself is beautiful with a large spacious area for seating, big windows with views to the street. The food is made in a timely manner & it tastes excellent, from the arepas to the empanadas y certainly is worth it.

Great place for gluten free arepas - corn based break filled with a variety of products like plantain, guacamole, cheese etc great service & cosy place
Was good, i tried two kind, pabellón & la pelua. I wasn't the biggest fan of the cheddar that comes with the pelua arepa but overall they were good ! …. Lulo juice which is my favorite fruit back home, tasted weird. I didn't like the juice.
La comida, el servicio, el ambiente - todo me parece 5/5. Las arepas están buenísimas y la salsa que te dan es deliciosa. Mi recomendación es el jugo de lulo y una arepa de reina pepiada con chicharrón.

The brunch is a delightful addition! The dishes were not only gluten-free but also bursting with authentic flavors.
We started with an order of empanadas; each one was perfectly crafted & filled with delicious ingredients, offering a satisfying crunch with every bite.
We followed that with the Plato Criollo, a giant plate of Perico eggs, fresh avocado, fried plantains, stewed beans, arepas, Andean cheese, & chicharrón (pork belly). All of this was not only delicious but extremely filling. We couldn't finish half of it 😅-the portion was very generous.
A big thank you to the team for their warm hospitality during brunch; it was evident that they take pride in their food & service. ☀?
