this is my third visit to Archway. the first time i thought, "this is a good restaurant, for a vegan restaurant." the second time i thought, "this is a good restaurant, for a vegan restaurant. no, wait, this is just a good restaurant." the third time, i thought, "i am so glad to be coming back here!" i love the way they put flavours together, how their plant-based cheese actually tastes good, how generous the portions are, how beautifully they're plated. & the service is friendly & attentive--just the perfect blend--not hovering, but regularly checking in, & not only our waiter, but others passing by as well. the vibe is great, the room is lovely (& the outdoor space is comfy, too, but it was rainy so we were inside), spacious & calm. the wine list is good, & the mock- & cocktails are not to be missed. the price for the table d'hôte is totally reasonable for what you get, too, as are the other prices on the menu.View more

Can't say enough good things about this spot; food is delicious,creative & exciting. Staff is friendly & take the time to explain the dishes & anything else on the menu. Despite not being vegan myself, I love the concept & admire how well thought of & flavourful the dishes are. Ordered the Bao plate recently which was so tasty! Really love their smoothies as well, price point is on the higher side but worth the treat.View more

Cute patio & nice ambiance. Lots of drink options which is always fun. The menu is quite extensive so there has to be something for everyone. Quite impressed by the breakfast sandwich which tastes like a delicious high quality non vegan breakfast sandwich. We also really enjoyed the ramen. Despite their beautiful presentation, we weren't the biggest fan of their baklava pancakes ( dense & not the most flavourful ). Potatoes & matcha latte are just ok. Prices are quite high but that's just what you see in the neighbourhood. I'd give it maybe a 7.5/10.View more

One of the few vegan places that has a large & creative selection of plant based foods for anyone to be interested in. Great selection of wines & you can't even tell it's vegan! Super adorable terrace setup on Wellingtons pedestrian only street. Menu changes seasonally, so it's always different if you come often (like me!)View more

We love this place! Can't find a better place for a vegan/gf fancier dinner in MTL. Staff is super friendly & the food is delicious. We especially love their brunch - breakfast sandwich & bagel BLT are wild. Archway is a no-brainer for anyone with food intolerances or vegans/vegetarians.View more

I'm not someone who takes pictures as I am not a camera person so no pics. I have to say for vegan restaurants this is one of the best. I normally do not eat out as I cook a lot myself but love to explore a restaurant that has an innovative menu. We ordered a full course meal with appetisers, mains & shared a dessert. I got the cold soup & it was very nourishing & refreshing. The juice of the day(watermelon, grapefruit & ginger) quenched our thirst & taste buds. The dumpling appetiser was outstanding & the cucumber salad was full of flavour & crunch. Similar salads & the cucumbers would be soggy. I ordered the piri piri dish & my friend had the "burger". The piri piri itself alone could use a little more seasoning but with the sauce & rice with veggies & apricots put it together amazingly well. My friend's burger wasn't an impossible or beyond it was veggies breaded with roasted peppers & the "fattoush" that came with it outstanding. I will do it their way & add chickpeas instead of the toasted pita. The pear baklava with the pistachio butter was bursting with nuts, dried fruit. They didn't skimp on the pistachios. Please try it out & open your taste buds. I love how they vary the menu & change it up. My third time here & my first review. Will definitely be coming back.View more

Archway is a Verdun gem for anyone looking for an upscale take on vegan food in a comfortable setting. Every time I come here, the service is great, the atmosphere is nice & the food is so tasty. While it's so much fun to come here & get my fill of vegetables, it's hard to justify the price of the dishes considering they are vegan. Everything is delicious, but the prices are high & the portions are relatively small. I have tried every dish here, & the best one by far is the maitake steak. This dish is so filling & innovative combining different flavours & textures. I also highly recommend the drinks here. Alcoholic or not, Archway's drink menu is filled with phenomenal sips.View more
