The food at Archway Verdun is exceptional. My wife & I tried a half dozen small plates from their Night Menu based on the recommendation of the ever helpful Jay (Shitake Taco; Carrot Tao; Artichoke with Cashew Labneh; Hearts of Palm ceviche; Aranchin with Aioli Pesto; & the Financier for dessert). I would place Josiane, the chef, is up amongst some of the more creative plant-based fine food restaurants we have eaten at in various cities around the world. We will definitely be back before leaving Montreal.
Every dish was beautiful & crafted with intention: each ingredient contributed to the amazing flavors. We particularly loved the artichoke & dumpling entrees as well as the juicy maitake steak. The service was excellent & the atmosphere calm which is unusual to find on a Friday night.
