I was really looking forward to eating here but it was really disappointing. I would describe it as poor.
The service was terrible, in all aspects - we had to ask to order drinks, then wait 10 minutes for them to come & take our drinks order. Then we had to ask to order food, & then we waited an incredibly long time for the food, at every stage.
Probably almost an hour for each course…

&, just to add insult to injury - we were never checked in on, offered more drinks, or anything.
It is a real shame, as the outside seating is lovely. I couldn't recommend it I'm afraid - & I wouldn't return.
It has real potential but I think it is almost the worst service I've ever had in MTL. Food was fine but wouldn't recommend the gnocchi, none of us liked it.

What a lovely spot! We tried their 3 course tasting menu, & every single dish was delicious. Highly recommend to try their chef specials, & their incredible gnocchi carbonara ( cannot believe that was vegan!). The atmosphere is great, our waitress was lovely- she took the time to walk us through the menu, explain each dish, & made us feel very welcomed. Highly recommend!! Merci!

Really enjoyed my first visit
I shared 4 dishes with 2 of my friends & we were all full after.
We had:
Maitake 5/5 WOW
Truffled gnocchi really good 4/5
Fried eggplant excellent 5/5
Beyond dumplings 3/5 didn't love this one

Will go back & try some other dishes bit will definitely have the maitake again & probably the eggplant too

Also recommend the slushie lime mojito 5/5

Went there with vegan coworkers, & despite not being vegan myself, I was impressed by their food! I've ordered the gnocchi carbonara & it was one of the best gnocchis I've ever had, period. For dessert, I recommend their limoncello cake - it's also top notch! Will definitely be coming back!

Le service est excellent, l'ambiance est très bien & les cocktails aussi sont super bons. Par contre, on a trouvé la nourriture correcte, sans plus. Tout était bon, mais rien ne nous a impressionné tant que ça. On dirait qu'il y avait toujours un mini truc qui clochait pour que ce soit vraiment bon (la salade de betteraves ne goûtait rien d'autre que la betterave, les gnocchis à la courge était un petit peu trop sucrés, etc.). Pour 200$, on s'attendait quand même à quelque chose d'excellent, mais c'était juste... Bon. Il ne manque pas grand chose pour que ce soit un excellent resto!

Nous avons commandé à emporter & avons été très déçus. Nous gardions un bon souvenir des buns de Cabane Panaché, mais ce n'est pas ce que nous avons retrouvé.
Les buns sont corrects, mais la sauce type mayonnaise burger ne nous a pas plu.
Les gnocchis à la butternut manquaient d'équilibre, avec une crème trop poivrée & des pickles de champignons qui ne fonctionnaient pas ensemble.

Dommage, nous ne reviendrons pas

Came here for weekend brunch & had the Gnocchis Shakshuka while my friends had the Okonomiyaki, Chicken Waffle, & Breakfast Sandwich.

The service was really accomodating & despite not having a reso, the staff quickly found us bar seats & gave us a table as soon as one opened up. They also took our coats/bags for us while we were at the bar which was very appreciated. The atmosphere was really warm & welcoming. Unfortunately, I found my Gnoccis Shakshouka a bit bland & drowned out by the tomatoe-y flavour. In contrast, the Okonomiyaki I tried was full of flavour & the kimchi in the dish was quite refreshing. Overall, I give this vibrant verdun vegan joint a 4/5 particularly because of the atmosphere & service.

Vous avez accompli un véritable tour de force : transformer le végétal en une symphonie de saveurs, en une gourmandise pure & envoûtante. Une performance qui mérite tous les éloges.
Les plats, une partition parfaite, sans la moindre fausse note. Le menu table d'hôte nous a conquis à chaque bouchée: des dumplings d'une douceur presque coupable, des gnocchis d'une onctuosité à faire pâlir d'envie, & cet artichaut tempura, simplement sublime. Ici, pas question de privation ; on savoure, on s'émerveille, & on en redemande. Sans oublier les GRANDS desserts, sublimes, Chaque assiette est une oeuvre d'art, une invitation à repenser ce que peut être une cuisine végétale : généreuse, inventive, & résolument gourmande.
Le cadre, un mélange parfait entre bistrot branché & cantine élégante, où le bois clair & la lumière mettent en valeur une cuisine fière & audacieuse.
Le service, un équilibre parfait entre enthousiasme & professionnalisme. Votre équipe incarne à merveille l'esprit d'Archway : attentive, discrète, & d'une convivialité qui met immédiatement à l'aise.
Alors oui, je prends ces quelques instants pour vous le dire : vous avez réussi là où tant d'autres échouent. Archway n'est pas simplement un restaurant, c'est une ode à la cuisine, une preuve éclatante que le végétal peut rimer avec luxe, audace & gourmandise. & cela, c'est suffisamment rare pour être souligné & pour donner envie de revenir sans hésiter.

2025: very well presented as always. excellent service from our server. Super accommodating & attentive, & great wine pairing suggestion (Abracadabrin). The maitake was still good according to my friend. My gnocchi was a little on the sour side but not bad. My other friend enjoyed her bao buns. I enjoyed my Royale cocktail, which balanced out the anise with sweetness nicely, would definitely do a 5 à 7 here with that deal. The sesame mousse was rich. My friend enjoyed her banana foster, she just found the base difficult to break & eat.
2023: Great presentation. Friendly & efficient service. Pretty decor. The artichoke appetizer & mushroom steak were delicious. Baklava martini didn't really remind me of baklava but it was still amazing. The Mochi cocktail was good, kind of a Soho & amaretto flavour. The financier was a little bready for my taste but I did find that the toppings really helped. Good portions, pretty filling.
