I used to go to Concordia University, so I would often visit Antep Kebab. I went back last night, & it was a real disappointment.
The wait time was also really long-it took over half an hour to get just 2 sandwiches, which made the experience even more frustrating.
Prices have increased, which is normal, but the sandwich bread has clearly shrunk by over 30%. The portion size overall is much smaller than before, especially for the price.
There was barely any sauce, & while I watched them prepare it, you're lucky if your sandwich even gets a single slice of tomato. There was also very little chicken inside, & it was cut so finely that the chicken taste disappears-most of my bites were just bread, lettuce, & a small amount of sauce. Before, the chicken & sauce would actually fall out because there was so much more filling.
Honestly, this is the biggest decline I've seen. You clearly have a lot of customers & are likely making good money now, but a $13 sandwich like this feels like a rip-off. It also makes no sense to see quality going backwards when there are brand new Turkish restaurants that have just opened right next door offering strong competition.
It's really sad because I used to genuinely enjoy eating here, but after this experience, I'm not coming back.
The food is meh, 27$ for lamb & some bulgur wheat is expensive & unjustified the quantity is barely fine . I am someone who can not finish a poulet rouge bowl , so if i felt hungry after finishing my plate here , the food was not enough… also quite chaotic for the price
Two Sandwiches with around 30 dollars & I didn't get even a clean table?!
He raised prices again!
Reminds me of Istanbul! The meat melts in ur mouth! The bread is freshly made, everything is fresh & clean. I had the lamb sandwich. The prices are very reasonable.
This place used to be full of people all the time & always a line
But not anymore
My honest conclusion it's because the sandwich'lamb' is basically is fully salad
I would re consider coming here again as usual if you just reduce the price or be generous on the meat
Thank you though

Nice & simple place but it's delicious, hope they don't raise their prices though.
The food isn't that good. The only good thing about this place is the fresh buns & the smoky charcoal taste of the meat but it lacked seasoning. You have to wait so much for your order & you'll wait so much for a table.
You pay on average 20$ for your order & it's not enough. Lately, I've noticed that the prices went up(it was my second time coming).
Among the best sandwiches in Montreal. However the prices has increased & the quality decreased
It's good, but the prices are just too high for the small portion. There are MUCH better value options within the same area.
