I was surprised by how overrated this place is. The food feels like they are trying too hard to be'different' & some waiters looked like they hated their lives, no one smiling, messing up orders, doesn't feel'warm' in any way in terms of reception, seating & service. Moreover people come & order a 2$ thing off the menu & hog the tables with their laptops for the next 4 hours. Slightly disappointed & I had heard good things about this place so I was expecting better.

Upscale cafe in beautiful architectural setting. I had the panzanella salad with chicken added. The salad was huge, fresh, filled with huge heirloom tomatoes, nectarines, plums, olives, homemade croutons that soaked up a delicious vinaigrette made with excellent olive oil. The chicken was disappointing: thin slices of bland, ungrilled, generic chicken. This is a place for a quick lunch to impress. I just wish they would post or tweet when they are closed to the public for a private event.

I really enjoy coming here. I try & get out of my house to work & love that they have a lot of spots for seating.

The Cafe is open early & serves pastries & drinks. You can order to go or stay & enjoy. If I'm not mistaken I think you can order breakfast food from the kitchen but that's it. The Lunch menu / Kitchen isn't available until lunch time. There you will have an abundance of lunch options from sandwiches, pizzas, salads, etc.

I've had their sandwiches, very large portions & very delicious. It is on the pricier side but good nonetheless. If you plan on eating inside the cafe, they give you a number & bring you your food which is nice especially when you're studying or chatting with friends.

The servers are very friendly & the space is kept very clean!

Only caveat is that I wish there were more spots with outlets - there are booths that don't have outlets & it would be better if they did. They do have other spots with outlets available so it's definitely not the end of the world.

Overall, I come here a lot & enjoy my time. Just know if you stay for a long period of time your pockets will feel it lol

Nice spot to work or study!
Amea Café has a really cozy vibe ; perfect for getting some work done or studying with a coffee ☕?💻
The food & drinks are good, & the prices are pretty reasonable for a downtown café. The only downside is that it can be hard to find a spot to sit sometimes, especially during busy hours.
Overall, a solid choice if you're looking for a chill place in the city!

The coffee & herbal juice was delicious. The pesto chicken sandwich could have used a bit more seasoning, I couldn't taste the pesto. Great atmosphere with high ceilings, greenery, booths, & lively college students.

A absolute must visit in Montreal.
ambiance, food, & service is next to none.

Roman style pizza is one of the hardest concepts to perfect & these guys have it figured out. Beautiful display of roman style pizzas to choose from.

The dough was perfectly light, with just the right amount of toppings.

after pizza, dont miss the pastries. their chef team creates so many unique croissant options. lovely selection & i will be back to try more.

love this place. thank you for what you do

We went to Amea Cafe for brunch but they only serve it on Sundays. It was a good breakfast anyway.
We ordered Bostock Pistachio with Rhubarb & Strawberries. We also ordered Shakshuka & a Supreme breakfast sandwich. The café latte were really good. The ambiance was nice, it's a huge place.

I haven't tried the food, but if you're looking for a space in downtown to grab a coffee & croissant, & do some work on your laptop, this place is PERFECT. This spot is spacious, & the ambiance is light & airy. The bathrooms were very clean.

Joli décor , grande superficie très photogénique mais bruyant. Vaut une visite mais concernant la nourriture discutable une portion de shakshuka généreuse avec 3 oeufs bonne saveur mais TROP d'arilles dans ce plat, omelette aux truffes manque de goût mais une tartelette chocolat caramel délicieuse sans oublier un americano décaféiné savoureux

The food is very beautiful & artisanal, however the taste is not anything special. My french toast was too sweet. It was busy & loud. My mochaccino had pure chocolate syrup at the bottom, which made it impossible to finish. Its a shame, but I will not be returning.

Ce café est certes plus cher que la moyenne, mais chaque détail en vaut la peine. Dès qu'on entre, on est enveloppé par un décor magnifique : verdure suspendue, éclairage chaleureux & un aménagement qui marie modernité & confort. 🌿💡

Les pâtisseries & desserts ressemblent à de véritables oeuvres d'art : croissants beurrés, tartelettes délicates, créations aussi belles que délicieuses. 🥐🍰 Chaque bouchée est raffinée, préparée avec soin. Le café, riche & onctueux, est servi avec la même attention aux détails.

L'ambiance est ce qui rend ce lieu unique. Que l'on s'installe dans l'espace verdoyant à l'intérieur ou dans l'atrium lumineux avec ses grandes parois vitrées, on a l'impression d'être dans une oasis en plein coeur de la ville. 🌇✨ Un endroit où l'on veut prendre son temps : discuter, lire ou simplement savourer l'atmosphère.
