Four years in a row Montreal has been part of our story & here we are again. Every year without exception, we find ourselves back at this cafe, sitting with our coffee & croissant, savoring the moment. It's more than just a breakfast ritual. It's a tradition we look forward to every single time.
When we return to Türkiye the taste that lingers in our memories & on our palates is always what we enjoyed right here. Some flavors stay with you. This one travels across continents with us. Already looking forward to the next visit. 🥐☕✨
This café has a very cozy & attractive atmosphere, making it a great place to relax or work on your laptop, especially given its location in the heart of downtown. The environment is cool & well-designed, & the food presentation is also visually appealing.
However, the portions are quite small, basically suitable for just one person. You may also need to wait for a table, as it can get busy. Additionally, some menu items sell out quickly; for example, the blueberry pancake was already unavailable by 1:30 PM.
Overall, it's a great spot for the ambiance, food design, & working with a laptop, but keep in mind the limited portions & menu availability.
I loved this cafe! alittle loud to study in but nice small tables to eat & catch up with friends.
From 12-230 You arent allowed laptops!
The service was really great, they delivered our foods & had a buzzer for our drinks.
I ordered the pesto roasted chicken, & it was very filling!
The salmon toast was a bit unfilling, but still tasty as per my friends. The shakshouka was a big hit, with pomegranates.
Drinks were average.
Plenty of seating but it filled up quickly.
Desserts very very sweet.
Great place, the proportions are huge! The ambiance is beautiful, the coffee is delicious. Finally, a great quality café! Must try!
The staff very polite, interior is excellent & a point of something new. I fell in love with the'theme' of the cafe. It's like my go-to study spot now! There is so many spots like high chairs & tables, or cozy areas to sit & its really quiet. Music isn't distracting.
hidden gem right between Mcgill & Concordia downtown campus. The cafe is within a building with an open space seating type. Your food gets brought to you while you have to pick up your drink from the bar. The pistachio round pastry was so delicious & sweet. The chai latte was good. The avocado toast I got was good, I just wished the mushrooms & eggs were warmer. Would definitely go back for the pastries.
Upscale cafe in beautiful architectural setting. I had the panzanella salad with chicken added. The salad was huge, fresh, filled with huge heirloom tomatoes, nectarines, plums, olives, homemade croutons that soaked up a delicious vinaigrette made with excellent olive oil. The chicken was disappointing: thin slices of bland, ungrilled, generic chicken. This is a place for a quick lunch to impress. I just wish they would post or tweet when they are closed to the public for a private event.
I really enjoy coming here. I try & get out of my house to work & love that they have a lot of spots for seating.
The Cafe is open early & serves pastries & drinks. You can order to go or stay & enjoy. If I'm not mistaken I think you can order breakfast food from the kitchen but that's it. The Lunch menu / Kitchen isn't available until lunch time. There you will have an abundance of lunch options from sandwiches, pizzas, salads, etc.
I've had their sandwiches, very large portions & very delicious. It is on the pricier side but good nonetheless. If you plan on eating inside the cafe, they give you a number & bring you your food which is nice especially when you're studying or chatting with friends.
The servers are very friendly & the space is kept very clean!
Only caveat is that I wish there were more spots with outlets - there are booths that don't have outlets & it would be better if they did. They do have other spots with outlets available so it's definitely not the end of the world.
Overall, I come here a lot & enjoy my time. Just know if you stay for a long period of time your pockets will feel it lol
Nice spot to work or study!
Amea Café has a really cozy vibe ; perfect for getting some work done or studying with a coffee ☕?💻
The food & drinks are good, & the prices are pretty reasonable for a downtown café. The only downside is that it can be hard to find a spot to sit sometimes, especially during busy hours.
Overall, a solid choice if you're looking for a chill place in the city!
C'est jolie
À côté il y a un muséum
Parking à la place
We went to Amea Cafe for brunch but they only serve it on Sundays. It was a good breakfast anyway.
We ordered Bostock Pistachio with Rhubarb & Strawberries. We also ordered Shakshuka & a Supreme breakfast sandwich. The café latte were really good. The ambiance was nice, it's a huge place.
Améa Café donated delicious mini gravlax bombolones to one of the Coda Foundation's events (a registered charity raising funds for Cancer). It was so generous of them!
