Afficher toutcafe(88) coffee(86) croissant(51) beautiful(45) brunch(36) lunch(36) pastries(32) pizza(28) dessert(24) vibe(23) seating(22) fresh(22)Food & pastries were spectacular. Seating area is gorgeous & spacious. Only issue was that the music was quite loud. The eggplant was a highlight dish as well as the circular croissants.
This is a beautiful ambiance with different pastries & brunch options. However, there is no services after receiving foods & if you need an extra plate, utensils, bread or any other side requests you have to turn back to customers line & wait long to talk with cashier. We asked an extra piece of bread & they charged 7$! Unreasonable price for a bread & inconvenient customer service in a sense that needs to back to the line just for such a small request! In the matter of food quality, we ordered Shakshuka & supreme croissant. The Shakshuka was delicious but the breads were super stiff & the croissant taste was average. There is still a way to improvement.
i was recommended this place soo many place & was pretty disappointed with what i got. the pastries looked pretty but their taste was average. i also tried one of their seasonal salads which was very average. still loved the open space concept. probably won't be back.
Beautiful spot, very crowded. The line outside goes by pretty quickly. You have to order your food & the counter & they bring it to your table. A little pricey but quality & quantity of plates explains it. The coffees were great & the pastries delicious.
Such an elevated, elegant space with absolutely fantastic customer service! The delicious coffee & pastries were the cherry on top.
The pastries are amazing but the breakfast is a big NO. If you are looking for pastry this is the spot but not brunch.
Love the pastries! Such a cute spot to meet up with friends & lovely service!
Located in the Alcan heritage building on Sherbrooke. Very big nice open space with lots of seating. This resto-cafe have expanded selection of pastries, sandwiches, pizza, breakfast & lunch. Ordered: ▪︎Smores ▪︎Croissant Supreme It's very goes well with coffee or dessert wine!
Amea is one of the most beautiful cafés I've ever had the pleasure of walking into, even the bathrooms were designed by artists! Michael Coppa's skills shine through his pastries. His menu is also full of savoury options too if your planning to stay for breakfast & lunch, which you definitely can, their venue has ample too for you to sit & stay a while.
Well decorated. Pleasant, efficient service. The porchetta sandwich was delicious, especially with the cacciocavallo cheese. Croissant Supreme (the strawberry cheesecake one) was a bit much for me but would definitely be open to trying their other pastries. Seating is limited so I would avoid the lunch rush, thankfully someone was willing to share their table.
Amea, located in the former Alcan building on Sherbrooke, is a surprisingly large yet intimate resto-café offering expanded selection of pastries & sandwiches for weekday breakfasts & lunch, as well as an excellent selection of premium coffees. On weekends there is an expanded brunch menu with a variety of hot dishes.
For our meals we chose Mushroom Avocado open face sandwich (very good), the Shakshuka (very good, a little on the runny side but with lots of fresh herbs...a interesting take but still good), & the Avocado Pomodoro open face sandwich (also very good...lots of tomatoes!). The coffee options are extensive & I had an excellent Americano.
Ordering is done at the counter (somewhat like a cafeteria style), after which a table number is provided to you & then you sit at any available table you like. There are a large number of tables as well as several two-person "shelters" (a banquet style table with a roof) to which the meal is brought to you. Overall a nice albeit somewhat busy place to have a brunch or quick meal. Enjoy!
Great location for quiet time or a business meeting. Great choice of drinks, pastries, & lunch.
I found the round croissant pastries overrated but their other croissants were soooo good. I would come back for more. The almond & blueberry one is delicious.
Their coffees are also very good.
It is worth to also pass by to spend some time in their beautiful space.
Overall great experience!
Cool vibes, GREAT coffee, tasty pastries!!!
Had to grab some fresh croissants right out of the kitchen to take for later. Washrooms were very cool too. Waitstaff were very friendly & engaging.
I love this spot. I will definitely be a regular now that I live right across from it.
