The vibe is fantastic, beautiful spacious place to work, meet friends/colleagues, chill or have a nice brunch/food. Different furniture setups for various preferences. I tried cheese & mushroom toast which was great & a dessert with coffee. They were tasty & great.View more
The food & the place are instagramable. The ambiance is classy & the food is a bit expensive. The mochaccino is rich & has the right amount of sweetness, coffee, & chocolate. We ordered Patate E Pancetta (5⭐️ for me), Croissant Supreme (3.5⭐️, Cannoli (4⭐️), & Formaggiosa (4⭐️).View more
Came for the croissant & got a croissant. The location is great & the concept is nice. There was a line but went fast. The coffee was good. We were a bit disappointed by the amount of filing.View more
best place to spend the day studying! great ambiance, food & coffee✨View more
Beautiful spot, very crowded. The line outside goes by pretty quickly. You have to order your food & the counter & they bring it to your table. A little pricey but quality & quantity of plates explains it. The coffees were great & the pastries delicious.View more
Great food, good staff, the coffee sucks tho. Hope they see it & fix it. Both expresso & late were awful. But the food. Perfect!View more
Bistro with okay sandwiches, nothing more. It looks so great on Google, I couldn't wait to visit. As a result, I got a cold so-so sandwich for the price of a main meal in a fancy restaurant. The decor is beautiful, & the service is friendly. Food is totally not worth it, but I might come back for a cup of coffee.View more
my fav place to study in mtl! great large space, lots of people on their computers, amazing coffee, a great atmosphere!View more
Such an elevated, elegant space with absolutely fantastic customer service! The delicious coffee & pastries were the cherry on top.View more
Stumbled upon this hidden café gem in downtown Montreal, & wow, it's a game-changer for business meetings! This place is not your average café - it's spacious, flooded with natural light, & has an unbeatable vibe that just fuels your productivity & creativity. It's perfect for escaping the office or those repetitive video calls. They serve up some delicious lunch options too, but here's a pro tip: schedule your meetings before noon. It's quieter then, & you'll easily snag the best spot before the lunch rush kicks in. Trust me, after a productive morning meeting in this energetic atmosphere, you'll be ready to dive into their lunch menu. Definitely my new go-to for business meet-ups in Montreal. It's like this café was made for brainstorming & deal-making, all while sipping on great coffee & enjoying the bright, welcoming space. Don't just take my word for it, experience it for yourself!View more
Love this spot, amazing food, great coffee & friendly staff. Excited to come back & try their brunch!View more
I recently visited this cafe & found it to be quite charming. The ambiance is cute, & the service is notably friendly. While the coffee was decent, it didn't particularly stand out. However, the desserts were truly impressive & worth trying. One unexpected highlight was the decor in the washroom, which was surprisingly impressive & added to the overall experience. Overall, a pleasant visit with some delightful aspects. I would recommend trying their desserts & appreciating the charming decor throughout the cafe.View more
We have been trying -& failing- to come to this place since it opened two years ago. But every time we tried, it would be closed. Today we lucked out & there was no lineup. This is a beautiful dining experience if you are looking for a "high end" cafeteria style food. They have pizzas, some hot sandwiches, salads & a few hot meals but by the time we arrived, which was a little after noon & on their last open day before they closed for the holidays, there were a few unavailable items on their menu. So we settled for their chicken sandwich, a cortado coffee & a pistachio croissant filled with rhubarb filling. Absolutely delicious & top notch ingredients in every bite. So well worth the wait. The ambiance is airy & cozy at the same time. Loved it & would come again.View more

Amea, located in the former Alcan building on Sherbrooke, is a surprisingly large yet intimate resto-café offering expanded selection of pastries & sandwiches for weekday breakfasts & lunch, as well as an excellent selection of premium coffees. On weekends there is an expanded brunch menu with a variety of hot dishes.
For our meals we chose Mushroom Avocado open face sandwich (very good), the Shakshuka (very good, a little on the runny side but with lots of fresh herbs...a interesting take but still good), & the Avocado Pomodoro open face sandwich (also very good...lots of tomatoes!). The coffee options are extensive & I had an excellent Americano.
Ordering is done at the counter (somewhat like a cafeteria style), after which a table number is provided to you & then you sit at any available table you like. There are a large number of tables as well as several two-person "shelters" (a banquet style table with a roof) to which the meal is brought to you. Overall a nice albeit somewhat busy place to have a brunch or quick meal. Enjoy!View more
I ordered a Shakshouka dish for $20 + tax, what I received was not Shakshouka at all! It was like a watery tomato paste with soma withered vegetables & soft-boiled eggs in it. Totally dissatisfied. Wanted to talk to manager but have been told that the manager is not available! Was about to give only one star, but the coffee was good though.
Not recommended for brunch.View more
Stopped to grab a bite & coffee after a walk on Mt-Royal. Super cute, great vibes. The brunch menu looked delicious & reasonably priced with various options. We had an iced latte, an iced blue matcha, & a DELICIOUS pistachio croissant stuffed with strawberries & rhubarb (OMG!!) Coming back to try the other flavours 😋View more
Been here twice!
The service is a bit slow when it gets crowded.
The coffee is good but I like the ambiance the most!View more
I found the round croissant pastries overrated but their other croissants were soooo good. I would come back for more. The almond & blueberry one is delicious.
Their coffees are also very good.
It is worth to also pass by to spend some time in their beautiful space.
Overall great experience!View more
