The kitchen focuses on traditional techniques to prepare protein-rich fillings like al pastor, carnitas, and barbacoa that prioritize depth of flavor over unnecessary complexity. The interior space reflects a functional and straightforward approach to casual dining, emphasizing speed and accessibility for those seeking genuine culinary craftsmanship. Really cute place & very friendly staff.

Unfortunately the food was very underwhelming. We got the chicken quesadillas & beef tacos suadero, & the meat was very dry & flavorless.

However, the tortilla chips with the 2 dips they serve while waiting for the food are 10/10!

We lived in the neighborhood & big fan of mexican food & when we saw this new place walking around we decided to give it a chance!

The cocktails are super good & the birria tacos are our go to for a quick lunch on the weekend. Specially with the patio during the summer, you can soak in the sun with a cocktail & good food.

The staff is always amazing specially the indian guy that always remember us & give us great service all the time. Keep it up guys & a go to place if you live around the neighborhood or just passing by.. you can stop for good food & cocktails!

The food wasn't bad. However, they only do cash or e-transfer which itself is shady. I'm not the CRA though so I don't particularly care about whether or not they're paying their taxes. My problem is that it's a huge pain in the neck for food that was rather bland.

Service was slow & my friend never got the drink she ordered. Never told us their card machine was broken until it was time to pay.
We had 3 entrees & 3 mains.
Entree portions good but were super small for the price. 15$ a small bowl of guac is criminal.
The mains we had were the potatos hardshell tacos, which were bland.
The hardshell chicken tacos, which were dry.
The birria tacos, which came with plenty of meat but no flavor.
It was also unbearably hot inside & not very lit up well.

I've been going here ever since they opened 15+ years ago in a location further west. We used to bring our babies & the owners would cook meals especially for them. When they moved, we were heartbroken. So glad they are back! They still remember our boys & the boys love the food here. Everything on the menu is authentic, & delicious. One of our all time favourite restaurants.
