I will probably delete this later, because Allo Mon Coco is my place for breakfast, but the lady who served us would never say sorry for forgetting to bring some part of our orders & when we told her, she wouldn't smile. It's written Nathalie on my receipt. I know customer service is not always easy, but trust me taking ownership & saying sorry & smile goes a very long way. Thankfully, there were some very young employees who saw me waiting & I asked them, they helped me with a smile. 🥰

I had eaten in this location 3 years ago & I gave 5 stars from the food, to the service, to the cleanliness & maintenance of the building. But, today I have to say I was disappointed like I have never been by a breakfast restaurant. The food was horrible; fruits were not fresh. Specifically the strawberry seemed to be served from frozen. The philly steak in the omelette, well we took 2-3 spoonful & then the rest went straight to the trash. The potato cubes were very bland & sad. There were between 10-15 tables & only two waiters, so we had to wait & wait every time we needed anything which was maybe 2-3 times. The state of the restaurant itself was horrible. There was a good layer of dust on the edges of the banquets separating the tables. There were missing or non-functional bulbs hanging from the ceiling all around. The carpet at the entrance were full of dead leaves, looking like it wasn't cleaned for quite a few days. All in all, I believe the owner has been cutting in every possible way to increse the in-flow of benefits, but nothing to make customers return to this location.

UPDATE: totally unappealing. We were there today (9/3/24) & this Allo has gone downhill. The portions were the smallest we have ever had at an Allo, the food was cold & the fruit was old. Do yourself a favour & go to Allo Place Vertu, it blows this location away. PREVIOUS REVIEW: We used to go to the Sainte Dorothee Allo, but no more, we prefer Centropolis as the servers are MUCH friendlier especially Sarah, who was our waitress recently. She was so sweet & professional. Thanks Sarah & Allo for a wonderful breakfast!

Fantastic breakfast. $100 for breakfast for a family of four is a little on the pricey side but it was worth it. The hostesses could improve the wait times by having the bus-boys clean the tables when they see the guests leaving but that only requires a little fine-tuning on behalf of management. Overall a great experience.
